Summary: Good headphones for the price. Sound like the sound magic e10 with slightly more bass and more distant sound stage with muddier treble. Cord seems flimsy, but all in all decent sound reproduction for the price. Sounds good with rock, classical, and edm.
Pros: Good seal in ear, Decent mids and highs for price, decent sound stage
Summary: I've had a couple pairs of these in this range of headphones, and I think that Sony maybe got it right a couple years ago with this form factor. Great lows, decent mids, and highs that are clear without being annoying. Sure, you sacrifice your bass clarity, and a bit of detail across the band, but I've learned the hard way that too much clarity (like in many balanced armature, or hybrid phones) can be a double-edged sword.
Summary: I own this product for almost 2 years and it is phenomenal . The sound quality is above many many other expensive headphones . I have bought this pair of headphones at the price of 21.70 pounds . Compared to SoundMAGIC E10 ,which was super praised by www.whathifi.com, and many many other sites ....I do not know and I do not want to believe how they got to those conclusions .
Summary: I bought these earbuds tio replace a pair of SkullCandy ones when the left channel quit on me. So disappointed, as they worked very well. I saw these, and of particular note was the larger driver unit (13.5mm vs 11 mm). While the bass response on the SkullCandy's was very good, the full, extended bass on these Sony's was unbelieveable!
