Cheap, and yet worth every penny

Emily M., Newegg
28 August 2012
  • Summary: I had a pair of these before, which were broken by someones dog. I was surprised to find this exact same pair of earbuds through Newegg. From experience, I can tell you that these earbuds are well worth the money, despite their flaws.
  • Pros: The sound quality on these are excellent. They work very well no matter what I plug it into. The case for these bad boys really come in handy.
  • Cons: They can be a little uncomfortable without the foamies, but then again foamies for these don't cost very much if you know where to look. The cord could be a bit longer, but then again they reach well enough from my front pants pocket when connect them to my cell phone.

My kind of earbuds

Chris S., Newegg
5 May 2012
  • Summary: Cheap price, decent sound and feel good.
  • Pros: These kind of earbuds have always felt best in my ears, snug. The new popular ones in recent years are an abomination and hurt my innocent earlobes.
  • Cons: None.

Meh.

Justin H., Newegg
23 April 2012
  • Summary: The wind-up mechanism of the case doesn't work well.
  • Pros: Audio quality is decent considering the price and that they're ear buds.
  • Cons: Really uncomfortable, I don't like wearing them for longer than 15 or 20 minutes. The cord is short, which sucks when using them on my netbook.

great cheap earphones

Michael H., Newegg
2 November 2011
  • Summary: If you find some of these and like them be sure to go back and buy a few more pair or you may end up spending a lot more the $10 the next time you ned earphones with good sound.
  • Pros: These are good cheap headphones with some of the best sound you'll get without spending a lot more. I'veowed various pairs of these over the years and always go looking for them again. the case is convient and easy to keep them untangled as well.
  • Cons: yes the cord is a little short, but it's worth it for the sound quality. the only other con is these are becoming hard to find as they are out of stock here and many other places as well.

Jonathan C., Newegg
26 April 2011
  • Summary: I've owned one of these for over 10 years and the sound quality was excellent. Heck, it came with my original Walkman CD player. But just like any other products, due to wear and tear, I had to replace them. Found these exact replacements on Newegg for a very reasonal price.
  • Pros: very good sound quality excellent bass & treble works great on iPods or any mp3 players price
  • Cons: cord is a bit short

6 August 2008
  • Summary: I bought these at my local Best Buy and I knew they were definitely an improvement over the ones that came with my MP3 player, but they didn't absolutely wow me. Nevertheless, they had pretty good sound quality. The only thing that I didn't like was that they don't have a great build quality.

27 July 2008
  • Summary: Although its sound quality-to-price ratio is the best in the market (if that's ever quantifiable), this product does not last long. After about a month of using these headphones daily with my iPod, the sound quality in the left ear has suddenly become fuzzy, and is now subject to the careful...

  • Summary: I ordered these with my sony fm radio because so many said the sounded great. If I hold them in my ears, they do sound great. But, they don't stay in my ears and were such a hassle I threw them away. Maybe it's my ears, but I tried several different ways, to no avail.

  • Summary: This is a good ear phone for its price. But at times only 1 ear piece works (the left channel) but then it goes back to normal. I still havent figured what the reason is. If it persists I'll ask for a return Overall not a bad product
