Summary: I prefer to use these cans more than my 5.1 home theater system. Gives you an edge in your PS3 gaming, you can hear those quiet footsteps sneaking up on you which is hard to discern with my home theater system. The sound is simply amazing, it just surrounds and envelopes you in a wonderful aural nirvana.
Summary: i bought this for my 86 year-old father (who insists he doesn't need hearing aids). i installed them as directed, however there is a problem with the volume. even with the volume turned up full on the headsets he couldn't hear the TV. (i tried them and the volume was still very low and i have no hearing issues whatsoever.) in order to get the volume up on the headphones WE HAD TO INCREASE THE VOLUME ON THE TV!!
Summary: This looked like they were exactly what I wanted. I did read in some reviews about interference with Wi-Fi. However, all my TV and stereo equipment have hard wired ethernet, so I wasn't too worried about it. I had just set up my system with the Twonky Media Server to serve up all my media stored on my NAS drive (audio and video). I use my Iphone as the control device for all of this. It allows me to "beam" anything from my NAS drive to my home audio/video system.
Summary: I purchased these for my husband because of his hearing loss. He was reduced to subtitles or having the TV so loud it could be heard throughout the house. He is now able to listen at any level he chooses. The pdf for these headphones say that you can purchase as many (add on) Sony MDR-DS6000 headphones as you would like. If I could find the add on headphones I would purchase a pair for myself. IMO they have wonderful sound.
Pros: Comfortable, Helps with hearing loss, Lightweight
Summary: How nice it is for my wife and I to watch our DVD movies and each of us be able to have the volume as loud as each of us want without disturbing the folks next door. The sound is great and the price was very favorable!
Pros: Comfortable, Good Bass, Good Value, Great Sound, Lightweight, Stylish
Summary: My wife has already thanked me twice for purchasing these -- the best possible outcome for purchasing some pricy headphones! Watch sports at night, and she loves to read in silence. So, headphones were the answer. Did my research, and these came with very high expectations. They have lived up to their rave reviews and I can clamp them on my head and walk around the house without losing any signal. Great sound, simple to use.
Pros: Comfortable, Good Bass, Great Sound, Lightweight, Stylish
Summary: So far, these things work with my digital cable box, my PSP, my laptop, and my PS3. Just to see if it would work, I plugged the two audio cables from the proprietary Sony PSP composite cable into the headphone base analog ports. I was pleasantly surprised that it worked. You look goofy with the headphones on your head, but they are light for their size, and can be worn comfortably for hours. The sound is pretty muffled compared to wired headphones.
