Summary: This looked like they were exactly what I wanted. I did read in some reviews about interference with Wi-Fi. However, all my TV and stereo equipment have hard wired ethernet, so I wasn't too worried about it. I had just set up my system with the Twonky Media Server to serve up all my media stored on my NAS drive (audio and video). I use my Iphone as the control device for all of this. It allows me to "beam" anything from my NAS drive to my home audio/video system.
Summary: I purchased these for my husband because of his hearing loss. He was reduced to subtitles or having the TV so loud it could be heard throughout the house. He is now able to listen at any level he chooses. The pdf for these headphones say that you can purchase as many (add on) Sony MDR-DS6000 headphones as you would like. If I could find the add on headphones I would purchase a pair for myself. IMO they have wonderful sound.
Pros: Comfortable, Helps with hearing loss, Lightweight
Summary: How nice it is for my wife and I to watch our DVD movies and each of us be able to have the volume as loud as each of us want without disturbing the folks next door. The sound is great and the price was very favorable!
Pros: Comfortable, Good Bass, Good Value, Great Sound, Lightweight, Stylish
Summary: My wife has already thanked me twice for purchasing these -- the best possible outcome for purchasing some pricy headphones! Watch sports at night, and she loves to read in silence. So, headphones were the answer. Did my research, and these came with very high expectations. They have lived up to their rave reviews and I can clamp them on my head and walk around the house without losing any signal. Great sound, simple to use.
Pros: Comfortable, Good Bass, Great Sound, Lightweight, Stylish
Summary: We have a home theater system - pull down screen, HD projector, BluRay, TV & Roku (for Amazon VOD and Netflix VOD. My wife's hearing is really good - my hearing is poor (to say the least). What's good for me is too loud for her. And even if I turn the volume way up, I find it difficult to understand dialog. As a compromise, I put the sub-titles on and keep the sound level down. Amazon VOD has no subtitles, so I miss a lot. "What did he say?
Pros: Comfortable, Good Bass, Great Sound, Must Have, Stylish
Summary: I BOUGHT NEW SONY TV AND WITH HEARING DIFICENCY,I LOOKED INTO SURROUND SOUND. I WOULD HAVE TO KEEP THE VOLUME UP TOO HIGH FOR THE REST OF THE FAMILY.NOW I HAVE MY PRIVACY AND SURROUND SOUND IN ONE NEAT PACKAGE THAT IS SO EASY TO USE, AUTO ON ANED AUTO OFF.WHAT COULD BE BETTER???
Pros: CHEAP SURROUND SOUND, Comfortable, Easy to set up and use, Good Bass, Good Value, Great Sound, Lightweight, OVERCOME HEARING LOSS
Summary: This electronic thing was one of the worst things that I have ever seen! I ordered this product as a drummer so that I would not have any issues with swinging cords and the sound being too loud. However, when it came, on the box it said it was only for DVD's and games. When I tested them out, they blocked perhaps 5 decibels of sound only! Also, every movement I made, they began to fall off of the head.
Cons: Does Not Block Sound, Falls Off/Out Of Ear, Flimsy Construction, Poor Sound, Poor Value, Uncomfortable
