  • Summary: These are the best I've found for small ears! The only ones that stay put while running. This is my second set. The first lasted years!

All five pairs broke in the same way

Matthew Alexander, Amazon
1 April 2012
  • Summary: I have small ears so earbuds are hard to find for me. These fit great, so I went ahead and purchased five pairs. Well, they all broke in the same way: one of the buds stops working within a few months of use. Continuing the search.

Owned 2 pairs, both lost sound in less than a month

G. Mapes, Amazon
27 February 2012
  • Summary: I owned 2 pairs of these and both broke in less than a month! The second pair in less than 2 weeks! They both ended up having the sound go out on the left side bud. I wore them to work out/run with. So I did sweat, not sure if that's the problem?

Poor Quality

Thoth, Amazon
18 October 2011
  • Summary: The configuration of these MDR-AS40EX earphones is excellent. They are comfortable and block out all the annoying noises of everyday life in the city - people talking on cell phones on the bus, extremely loud sirens, car horns, advertising, etc.

Comfortable but horrible sound quality

staples_27, Amazon
18 October 2011
  • Summary: I bought these to use while jogging. They stayed in place and fit my ears when most earbuds won't. However, I felt like my niece's Playskool radio has better sound quality than these. I found there to be no bass and just a poor sound quality overall.

Great headphones for pricing

mike, Amazon
1 October 2011
  • Summary: This is my 2nd set of loop style headphones and I must say I love these things. Extremely durable, quality sound is excellent and they sit comfortably. My 1st set lasted 3 years and I'm an active user between my daily gym sessions of heavy lifting & running, out door events to everyday listening.

Finally... the perfect running earbuds!

MB-P, Amazon
29 August 2011
  • Summary: As a half-marathoner, I have been searching for earbuds that don't fall out of my ears for some time. In the last six months alone, I have been through half a dozen types of earbuds (Sony, J-buds, Coby, and others), but once those earbuds started to dampen with sweat after the first mile or so, I...

Good sound, bad construction

Susan L Berry, Amazon
17 August 2011
  • Summary: I've had two of these earphones. The sound is good but they don't last. On both sets I've lost sound in one earbud over time. The first set lasted about 8 months but the second set only lasted less than 2 months before the left speaker stopped working.
