Excerpt: When the cat sits on your favourite Bose headphones, it's a bit of a disaster. My headphones and I are inseparable you see - I gotta have music! An emergency pair was therefore in order (where emergency is defined as whatever House of Fraser had in stock for less than £30, as I would only need to use them for a short period of time) and so I came to be the owner of a pair of Sony MDR AS30 headphones.
