Excerpt: I have owned these headphones for approximately 6 months and have been very happy with their performance. I purchased them to replace similar sony headphones that I used to have that broke, and have found these to be an upgrade. They look very stylish, with the mostly black and accent of silver and red. for those who are used to around the ear style ear buds these are some of the most comfortable I have owned.
I think I've finally found the perfect pair of headphones

Excerpt: Unlike many who might buy these heaphones, I'm not a runner. However, I have never been a fan of the ear buds. They always feel as though they are going to fall out of my ears (extremely annoying). After my last pair of headphones gave out on me, I went to Walmart to see what they had, and then I saw these. They looked kinda strange, which was interesting to me. I liked the way they appeared to hook around my ears.
Excerpt: I am a runner and always listen to music on my runs. I am always on a quest to find the "perfect pair" of headphones for running because there is nothing more uncomfortable than your headphones feeling unsecured while you are running, or worse to have them fall out of your ears! You end up having to readjust some pairs constantly when what you should be able to do is just forget they are there and enjoy the music and scenery on your run!
Excerpt: The sony headphones worked well while they lasted. After all sweating and running with them they eventually gave way, lasting only a summer. Also, as a female that wears earrings, wearing these and wraping them around your ear was annoying as it would interfere with my earrings and even caused me to loose one. Other than that they worked well, sound was good, not bothersome. Good buy for the price.
Summary: I bought these headphones for the gym hoping that they would stay in place during moderate exercise. The speaker was large and uncomfortable and the surrounding plastic provided no support as it didn't even come in contact with my ear. These may be okay for a man, but as I am a smaller woman, they would not stay in place. Instead of going to the gym, they are going back to the store.
Summary: To be honest, I really don't know how long I have owned my Sony earphones. They have outlasted more than one mp3 player. The sound quality has been great from day one and I would be happy to have another pair just so I wouldn't have to constantly be plugging and unplugging them from all the things I need earphones for. Since I have never had the slightest bit of trouble with my earphones I can't imagine the problems the other reviewers have had.
Summary: I bought one pair, then like them so much I bought another in case Sony stops making them.
Pros: Great for those of us with smaller ear canals who can't find earbuds that stay in or the earbuds hurt after 10min. Have a nice "doo-hickey" that keeps the cords from tangling when stored in your gym bag or pocket.
Cons: When moving vigorously (like when jumping or cheerleading or jousting), they don't stay fully engaged in the ear canal. But due to design they stay put enough that you can still hear the music, you just lose a bit of volume and bass response.
