Very poor audio quality. Reasonably made for inexpensive headphones.

Summary: These have to be the most pathetic excuse for headphones I have yet to come across. Yes, I know they're cheap; what did I expect, right? Well, something on par with previous products. I nearly always buy low end, cheap Sonys. These are probably my eighth set. I'm really hard on them: cords pinched in car doors and desk drawers, wires wrapped around ear pieces and stuffed in my jeans pocket.
Summary: These are not bad for the purpose they were designed. They are sure to stay on your ears during all types of workouts. But, do not expect audiophile quality sound. The reproduction is adequate. A bit light on the bass for what I like but, good enough to keep you motivated and get you through your day. If you like audio books or talk radio, these would be excellent. I find them to be a little below average for music. But, that is just me.
Summary: Sound is fine for listening to audio books while exercising. Hooks are comfortable and keep the buds in the ears. Have not listened to much music on them, so cannot comment on music sound quality.
Summary: Sony always has a great sound. For less than $20, these are a great pair of earbuds. The around the ear grip keeps them on no matter what you are doing. The actually way the speaker fits in the ear is very comfortable. The jack attaches to the cord at a right angle, so I have found Sony cords much less likely to short out over time. We generally lose these earbuds before they are worn out.
Summary: These earphones were not purchased for use while participating in a high level of physical activity...they were purchased so that I could plug into my computer or any technical devise while other family members were blatting the TV. The sound quality is very good, and I liked that I could at the same time hear someone who was speaking to me. These are just what I needed. I am a little concerned about how the wiring will hold up, but I won't be using these all that often.
If you intend to use these for sports and give them some abuse they probably won't perform any better than some regular headphon

Summary: I use the headphones to run outdoors every other day for approximately an hour at a time. I also use them at the gym for workouts. The ear bud stopped working within two weeks and I am unable to determine if it is the wiring or something else. I've had similar Sony headphones in the past that have failed also, but those at least lasted a couple of months.
Summary: Replaced an older model of sony sport headphones that had lasted for a couple years. I prefered the feel of the older model since these do pinch a bit after a while in the ears. Other than that they are good headphones.
