Summary: For those of us for whom ear buds do not work and prefer a simple design rather than something out of Star Trek, this is the only option I've found for over the head, athletic headphones. They work fine until they stop working fine, which for me was about a year. Reluctantly and lacking any other options, I recently just ordered another pair.
Summary: Wonderfully clean, wide range sound and amazing imaging from a headphone you can buy with pocket change! Very sensitive so amps are typically not necessary. I use these mostly with a Sony 438 series MP3 player. It is a good workout headset too although I somewhat prefer the Sennheiser PX series which go behind the neck and uses a single cord so no wires at the front of your body but are more expensive and maybe more durable but the Sony's are a great buy and sound...
Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Good Bass, Good Value, Great Sound, Lightweight
Summary: With a Creative MuVo these just don't have enough bass! The MDR-A34's set the bar and now these are no longer produced. :-( These hp's aren't the dainty little things some would have you believe though. The beauty of over-the-head type phones is that if you wear glasses they keep them from bouncing on your nose while running...so AFAIK Sony doesn't make any good ones anymore.
Summary: Okay, I had a similar style of these before when I would go running in L.A. and they lasted me for about a year, which is not great, but passable, I think. So I needed to replace the previous pair, and I bought these, because I liked the way they folded up, and I liked how they stayed in my ears and on my head during running. Well! What a sad fate these headphones suffered--the left side went out!
Summary: this product is pure junk. I used it with my ipod, and it broke only after 3 days. I bought it because I sweat alot. On the 3rd day at the gym,the volume in both sides would not go above a certain point. too low for me to hear. I know it wasn't my ipod because when I bought a new pair of a different brand of headphones, the volume problem disapeared!
Summary: Ear buds just don't stay in my ears. I love these headphones- they have great sound, and they stay put even if I am jogging. The fact that they fold up into a nice, compact bundle is an added bonus as it makes them easy to store.
Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Durable, Good Bass, Lightweight, Rich Sound
