Good but noticeable hiss when noise cancelling on

J Lye, Amazon
8 October 2014
  • Summary: Light and beautiful. Incredible packaging. Sound quality superb. Only down side is the level of hiss when noise cancelling is on. For this reason I had to return them.

Comparison with Bose QC15

Hawfinch, Amazon
20 November 2013
  • Summary: I already owned the Bose QuietComfort 15 headphones, which are the same price as these, and wanted a second pair of noise cancelling headphones to use at another location. So I thought I'd try this Sony pair, based on the positive reviews. In terms of build quality the Sony are superior. They look and feel solid, metallic and professional. Alongside them the Bose look slightly plasticky and cheap.

Too Bright & Too Harsh

Jamie McAllister, Amazon
25 July 2013
  • Summary: These headphones are like Jekyll and Hyde. It's craziness. On one hand, you have a warm, balanced headphone and on the other, you have something that's had a schizophrenic break and can't wait to scream in your face. Well, first things first.. These things look.. Great! The build quality is spectacular, they're (almost) made entirely of metal, with red-trim, but are unbelievably light.

Fantastic sound Quality, rubbish noise cancelling

NikA, Amazon
9 May 2013
  • Summary: I have always been a Sony customer when it comes to portable audio products from Discman to new Walkman series and their headphone line. I tried many different headphones before purchasing these from amazon including the notorious Bose QC15. These are by far superior to Bose in term of sound quality and comfort. They are even better that the normal MDR-1R in terms of sound and build quality. Where they suffer is the noise cancelling. Put it simply IT DOESN'T WORK.

Sony MDR vs. Bose Quiet Comfort: Knappes Rennen

Dr. S. Amin Talab "AT", Amazon

Hieman ristiriitaiset kuulokkeet...

Dellor, Gigantti
24 November 2014
  • Excerpt: Kolme viikkoa olen näitä kuulokkeita käyttänyt, ja tuotteessa on hyviä, mutta myös huonoja puolia: + Rakenteellinen laatu on aivan huippua + Mukavat päässä + Eristää melua ilman vastamelutoimintoakin kiitettävästi + Hyvä säilytysboksi + Vastamelutoiminto blokkaa tehokkaasti matalataajuista melua (esim.

Hyvä ääni ja laadukkaat kuulokkeet

Sootaj, Gigantti
6 November 2014

Sony MDR-1RNC vs BOSE QC15 vs Shure SRH840

B. Schneider, Amazon
20 August 2014
  • Summary: Ich hatte folgende Situation.

Bose QC15 vs. Sony MDR1RNC

xxxyyy, Amazon
12 January 2014
  • Summary: Sound quality – winner: Bose Sony is somewhat better with highs, Bose is better with bass. Both have enough bass, but in a car with noise cancelling on the Sony loses so much bass that it is clearly lacking. Bose could also do with a bit more bass in a car, but still acceptable. I ordered the Sony first and for me this was the deciding factor to order the Bose as well to compare and keep the better one.

Soundkäse

Taxmax "taxmax", Amazon
12 August 2013
