Superb and Just right sound

William, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: The sound quality is just right. Sound varies on the song being played. Just adjust the equalizer of your player and its good to go. Perfect size. The design is presentable. Happy to have it. Tested other headphones on stores, some are expensive because of its packaging and how they are advertised. I highly recommend this item. You will never regret it.

User Review

Llloyd, head-fi.org
14 November 2014
  • Summary: I'm well aware of what head-fi thinks of wireless audio technology but what do we have to lose from a ~200 USD phone that is wired(and sounds good wired) and also happens to be wireless?  Be not afraid.   You get the option of great sound when you want it and also convenience when you want to be wire free.  Aint nothin bad about that.   Disclaimer:  I typically don't dabble in closed phones because there has never really been a need for it.
  • Pros: Wired sound is competitive with others in the same price range. Great midrange. Convenience. Portable
  • Cons: Flabby bass, The built in dac/amp could be clearer. Need aptX transmitter to get the best sound over BT

great

  • Excerpt: Product came as described. Very nice packaging. Elegant design. Soft ear cups. I'm still currently in break in phase. However they feel and sound great already. They are light enough for extended wear but the fit isn't as tight as I'd like. Bluetooth works great, no problems there. Only con would be nfc with my Xperia isn't too fast. Could be my phone's case but it's not a deal breaker in the least. Overall, great product with amazing battery life.

Not as good as I had hoped

phonephreak, B&H Photo
4 March 2014
  • Excerpt: These are not horrible, just not what I would expect from Sony and at this price point. Whether connected via Bluetooth or with cable the midbass is very boomy and muddy. The mids are very low. This is the first set of headphones I had to boost the mids on my equalizer. I also hade to cut the midbass down about 6db to get rid of the irritating, muddy bass. My in ear Klipsh s4 are SO much BETTER sounding it is ridiculous.
  • Pros: Comfortable
  • Cons: Poor Sound, Poor Value

Sony MDR-10RBT Headphones

BART, B&H Photo
27 February 2014
  • Excerpt: After spending many hours reading reviews, specifications etc on bluetooth headphones, I decided on these Sony MDR-10RBT Headphones.I use them to listen to music on my Samsung Galaxy Tablets and my S3 cell phone. At first the bass seemed to be very strong causing the midrange vocals to be restricted, but after using them for several days, they now have a very nice balance and sound that is very clean with a blend of bass, mids and hi's for an excellent listening...
  • Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Durable, Good Bass, Good Value, Great Sound, Lightweight
  • Cons: Nfc Does Not Work With S3
