Conclusion: I am very pleased to have these headphones perform to my expectations. I was skeptical, being a music enthusiast, about A2DP compression and frequency response, but that proved to not be a issue for me. True audiophiles will still require wires though--there is a compress/decompress delay of approx. 180-190 milliseconds on my machine (Windows 7, lean). Linux is even less; not even noticable. This is just a warning to those who might do audio/video editing.

Conclusion: Whilst it might seem ridiculous to spend AUD$200 on a pair of headphones, if you're serious about taking your music around with you everyday this is a really great product. The design won't be for anyone, I had long hair when I first bought it which hides the fact that the ear cups poke about about an inch from your head. But now that I have a shaved head they can look a little silly, but I'm not too bothered about that. Bass response and sound quality are good.
Conclusion: The rewiews for these headphones are all over the place but I found them to work great and have great sound. I use the headphones with my BlackBerry Storm 2 and have had great results with both music and the phone. I will order a second pair for my wifes iPod Touch. I was concerned with reception distance as most bluetooth device have about a 3 foot range. I tested the headphones to 40 feet before they dropped signal, 30 feet through one wall.
Summary: The DR BT50 head phones are very desirable and comfortable. There are however a couple short comings that apply but may not be the headphones fault. What needs to be done is ask what you want to accomplish and establish your priorities. The Bluetooth part works well. It paired easily with my v3 Razor, with my USB Bluetooth dongle, and my PS3.
Summary: I use these headphones at work almost every day. I usually leave bluetooth enabled on my phone, and when I power-up the headphones they pair automatically (after initial pairing sequence). Sound is great, and nobody else can hear it even if I turn on the volume. When I leave at night, I plug them in the charger. You cannot use them while plugged in the charger, which I found surprising.
