  • Conclusion: Unless you enjoy the grunts and wheezes of fellow gym-bunnies, slap on these wireless cans and turn the Rocky theme tune up loud. Alternatively, annoy other fitties by taking a hands-free call. Awesome.
  • Pros: “Feel the burn!” “I want 110 per cent” “No pain, no gain”. That’s the sort of crappy motivational speak you could be listening to in the gym, or you could block it out by popping on this pair of slimline Bluetooth headphones. You can even field calls using the built-in microphone (phone and MP3 player not included). The side-mounted volume and track controls are easy to use, even on a treadmill, while sound quality is great for wireless and, yes, they are fully perspi...
  • Cons: While the headband is pretty comfy, the battery is pretty big, as are the Bluetooth ‘wings’ (Wings? What is this some sort of lady hygiene product?). And while the BT160AS works with all Bluetooth phones for picking up calls, you will need a Bluetooth adapter to use it with your iPod. Sony’s matching unit, meanwhile, costs an extra £45!
