Summary: So, after bying the Klipse and returning them, I bought these. Deep bass at low levels, distorts easily at high levels. Highs are muddy. Cords are nice and came with a decent case. Those are the positives. Returned them for the Dre. Beats. Returned them a few days later. Ordered the NuForce NE-700M from Best Buy ... and waited ... and waited. E-mailed 2 weeks after order and no response. E-mailed again and 2 days later was told they were back ordered.
Summary: I don't right reviews, ever. This is my first & I own an iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4G, & iPad. So for me to write this, there is really something wrong with this product. First, bottom half came apart from the y-axis. Second, krackle in left ear. Third pair, now there is a crackle and low sound in right ear.
Pros: Sounds great when working properly. Cord doesn't tangle.
Cons: Sounds deminish after a couple days of use. Rubber cord inside of a rubber(change$$) carrying case, that was GENIUS.
Summary: I purchased this product becasue it was recommended by a Best Buy associate. The first pair was returned becasue the reception was not clear in the right ear. The second pair lasted a month before both ear buds started to provide static when listening to music. Best Buy provided me with a thrid pair. However, I didn't give them a shot. I wised up and returned this item and paid the difference for the Bower and Wilkins C5's.
Summary: I bought this item last month, just prior to an extended trip, for part of which I would be by myself. I like to listen to both music and recorded books, and decided to treat myself to a set of good quality headphones to improve my listening experience while driving. These worked great. FOR A WHILE! I began to notice that I was having a little difficulty hearing and understanding audio books. Okay. I'm slightly hard of hearing Maybe more than slightly. Could be my fault.
Summary: So I got these after I sent my other pair through the washing machine for the third time and needless to say, died. I figured that since I use earbuds every day that I would splurge and pay the $100 and get these. Totally not worth it! The pair that I ruined cost approx $60 and I never had a problem with them staying in my ears. These Sol Republics sound great but slip out of ear constantly and I haven't tried jogging/running with them either.
Summary: As an audiophile I am always looking for the latest and greatest in earbuds and headphones. When I heard about these I was absolutely stoked, as they sounded like a steal for the price. Upon my first listen I was quite happy with the sound. The highs and lows were all great, and the bass wasn't muddled and overbearing where it wasn't wanted. I did find the fit to be a bit strange, as you have to pull your ear down in order to get them in properly.
Summary: These buds are not ment for the gym AT ALL! 2 pairs, 2 returns, less than 30 days each. Im not disgusted, but I went with a better brand after chewing up time in the return line at bestbuy twice in 60 days.
