  • Summary: if you want a high quality with amazing sound long lasting and economic ear-buds you should buy these!
  • Pros: these earbuds are awesome! i've owned them for a very long time and i can say they are tough built and deliver excellent sound quality and they are very loud!. they got stepped on twice and one side split in 2, i put it back together and still worked perfectly! the wire is very twist resistant. i...

Good value

  • Summary: I like my earphones to have a flat response across the audio spectrum. Normally I listen to Klipsch Image S4s, which display the reproduction characteristics I like (plus they're very comfortable). I purchased these Titans for my son.
  • Pros: No distortion anywhere across the audio spectrum. Sound entirely contained - those sitting next to you will not be disturbed. Retail packaging intelligently designed - the stereo plug is prominently displayed, for those who don't know a 2.5mm from a 3.5mm plug. Nice carry case. The wire is close ...
  • Cons: Bassy. A little too tight in my ears but maybe I don't have them sized correctly yet.

Sound great if . . .

William R., Newegg
23 December 2011
  • Summary: If you've lost sound in one or more channels, check the screen for earwax buildup. If it's clogged, you can CAREFULLY remove the screen with a sharp-ponted tool; it may fix the problem.
  • Pros: Acoustically these are a good value. Apart from one channel going out due to earwax buildup (see cons) we've had no durablility issues with them. Note that unless you have these positioned in your ear just right, they will sound extremely thin.
  • Cons: As others have noted it's hard to tell left from right. Also, these earbuds - like most earbuds - are fitted with a metal screen to protect the speaker. As dirt and earwax build up on that screen it will reduce output (this has happened to us on 5 different paids of Skullcandy earbuds). See below...

so-so

  • Summary: if you're looking for a good pair of headphones around $25-$30, ditch these for a pair of Sennheiser CX380 or the CX300's. Unless you listen to the new wave trance nonsense (which falls under the demographics marketed by skull candy). For those who are looking for clear, crisp mids look elsewhere.
  • Pros: great bass levels, fair price, stylish design and nice packaging. comes with 3 different ear sizes so they fit perfect. feels sturdy and well made
  • Cons: mids and trebs aren't as clear or loud as I'd like. When listening to acoustics (or anything non-trance for that matter) these headphones are completely worthless. more suited for listening to dub step or other music genres with heavy bass. Also the pair I received did not come with the braided c...

Worth The Money

Zach G., Newegg
30 August 2011
  • Summary: Not sure what the life on these will be, but if you're looking for a budget pair of phones that might last a while, I think these might be the ones. My next choice woulda been the Audio Technica ones here, but then I woulda paid twice as much, and the sound in these really is fine for walking around...
  • Pros: Bass is great, mids n highs sound like they're stuffed in a sad, sour metallic blanket. Ya know what, it's really not that bad. I consider myself somewhat of an audiophile and you really gotta listen to hear the tin can noise coming from the high end. The bass though, is seriously good for an ear...
  • Cons: Maybe a little uncomfortable if I wear them for too long. The little metal knob on the outer portion rests in my ear and becomes bothersome after some time.

  • Summary: Many other choices that are better in this price range. If these were 15$ they'd be a great buy.
  • Pros: Durable, decent sound, bass-heavy tone (if you like that), nicely finished, cool sticker comes with them.
  • Cons: Volume control makes the cord swing around too much while working out. Bass-heavy tone (if you don't like it).

Very Happy

Carl B., Newegg
21 August 2011
  • Pros: Fits my ears very snugly. The best sounding ear buds I have ever owned. I didn't expect the bass to be so responsive and such full sound from ear buds.
  • Cons: The case is probably never going to be used and completely useless to me at least. Would have preferred a cheaper cost by not including it.

Mediocre

Damian T., Newegg
5 August 2011
  • Summary: These are going back and I'll try to find a pair that stay in my ear.
  • Pros: They look freakin' awesome. Sound is about 15% better than my stock earbuds
  • Cons: Won't stay in my ears. Maybe it's just the freakish shape of my ear canals but I tried every combination of the 3 sizes of plugs and they continued to fall out. I was also disappointed that the cables are not the nylon braided type that are show in the picture.

missing something

Roberto L., Newegg
22 June 2011
  • Pros: They sound really good on my android phone and 3ds.
  • Cons: I got mine and the first thing I notice is that the cable was not braided in nylon it was just plain rubber is this a defect or are they just starting to make them like that? I know 1 thing the advertisement states that it's a braided nylon cable so what went wrong here??
