Summary: - Bought these to replace an old pair of Skullcandy earbuds that broke during an airplane flight. The old pair's right earbud works but the left is dead and won't make any noise even if I try to move the wire.
Pros: - Heavy bass but not overpowering - Price compared to other nice earbuds is good - The iPod Touch 4G can make you feel like you're at a concert with these
Cons: - Audio in low quality is hard on the ears if at a high volume
Summary: For the audiophiles here, do you really think that the minute differences of sound really matter to the masses? I love music, and I can hear the differences between bad and good sound, based upon my personal experiences with such things. Therein lies the rub, though.
Pros: First off, see Other Thoughts for the Audiophiles in the audience here. I bought these earbuds to replace my stock headphones on my D2. I love music, but I will confess that my hearing is not the greatest. These earbuds give me such a great sound as to be far and away from anything I've owned so ...
Cons: None, yet...except I didn't buy them from here and paid a little more for them. Not exactly a con since I needed something at the time, instantly, but I spent more.
Summary: No static electricity as earlier reviews noted lol. A little bit heavy, but you don't feel it until you really notice.
Pros: Metal coating on the actual buds for durability $35 on Newegg. Pro or con, but very decent pair of earphones for under $50 11mm driver for stronger output and durability Really strong and full, but modest bass Sharp midtones Gold-plated jack as opposed to the regular metal on the cheaper As with ...
Cons: Not a right-angle jack. A lot of people don’t care, but rt angle jacks are usually a lot stronger and take less pressure. So the jack doesn’t fray or bend as much. Leaves something to be deserved in highs and lows. I don’t think it stands as much as rival Sennheiser CX200 which is $25 on Newegg. ...
Shocks are static electricity up the wire grounding through your ears
Brian M., Newegg
2 April 2012
Pros: JZ - You are getting a shock because the wire is swinging around and building up a static charge and then discharging through your ears. You can do this without them even plugged into a device. It will subside when the humidity goes up and winter ends.
Summary: If you are masochistic, then you will enjoy these headphones.
Pros: Good audio range and sound quality.
Cons: These things occasionally give me a shock in my ear! I thought it was static electricity at first, but now i know it is defective wiring in one of the earbuds. Also, sometimes the volume is out of balance from left to right.
Pros: The sound quality was good for the price even though i have purchased headphones for much less and didn't notice a HUGE difference. The real catch for me here was that they are a great deal more durable than cheaper headphones and when mine broke they replaced them for free WAY after they were co...
Cons: If I am going to spend $40 for headphones it makes me just want to go ahead and pay $100 to get really great headphones. The warranty and durability makes this con easy to ignore though.
