Summary: This is now the second time I've edited this review. I'm editing again this time, because they just BROKE after just a few weeks. The entire ear cup on the right side just snapped off FOR NO REASON. No, I did NOT throw them across the room like some kids do. I'm an adult and I just don't do that kind of thing. I was, quite literally, just taking them off my head with both hands.
Summary: Great product works perfectly. Fast delivery good price. The sound is like I am in the game. The only complaint I would have is the cord is really long and had to get creative on where to put the extra but got it solved by creating a pouch to hold the extra and all is good. Works wonderful on my laptop gaming rig, and very very comfortable. This is the first headset that did not turn my ears red and sore after wearing for a long time.
Summary: The sound from these headphones is good; it's like having a sound system in a pair of headphones, but there are too many wires, which always seem to get in the way of holding the game controller. Also, the control used for adjusting sound is not user-friendly, particularly when playing in a dim or dark room. Unable to see, I keep forgetting in which direction to nudge the toggle to adjust game sound versus chat sound.
Summary: This headset is amazing the cables are very long if you love playing in your living room you will be happy the voice control cable comes with an led that glows red when you mute it and blue normally along with 3 different equalizer a one being good on base all the cables can be detached if you wanna listen to your iPod or iPhone and the ear-cuffs are made out of a soft padding like the soft material in a laptop or psp case they are like no other headset out there.
These are great headphones if you like cheap plastic and constant feedback

Summary: Skullcandy has launched into a crowded market that has seen few companies make a profit. With the SLYR or slayer, headset they tried to approach the market with an affordable unit that would appeal to budget gamers. Unfortunately, I feel that they dumbed down this item too much and left out key things that would appeal to a buyer for life. First, the product is made a of a cheap plastic you would find out Mcdonald kid's meal and that is actually a compliment.
Summary: I am going to head this review with a disclaimer that I have not owned many pairs of headphones in the past so I may not have the greatest opinions when it comes to sound quality. That said lets get into this. Sound: Over all the sound quality is exceptional. There seems to be a great range on what the headphones can play well and I have used them for all types of music.
Summary: UPDATED! Using RAZER Surround sound software these are better for pc than console. Some background I take my gaming seriously been online gaming for over 17 years so when I seen audiophiles making claims on these that they are indeed gaming headphones I had to test it. I wasn't as impressed... " Are these guys actually gamers or professional reviewers? Just tried the Skull Candy Slyrs. Not bad but definitely not for serious playing.
