Excellent headphones for the price

Marsha J., Newegg
2 May 2011
  • Summary: I got these on sale for 44.99 and I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
  • Pros: Bass literally vibrates my skull, which is a feeling I've never experience with any other pair of headphones I've ever owned. Sound quality is excellent, but diminishes slightly with the bass on max. The headphones are also very lightweight, something I didn't expect. I could almost go running in...
  • Cons: Bass balance is a bit out of wack, by which I mean it's stronger in the right ear than in the left. That's the biggest problem with these headphones and it's why I'm giving it a 4 instead of a 5. Also the sound is a bit off when hooked up to my computer. Still sounds great when it's hooked up to ...

Nice Headphones

Ian J., Newegg
9 June 2009
  • Summary: comparing anything like Senheiser to a consumer product like Skullcandy is slightly unfair. the skullcrusher headphones are decent sounding and have more than enough bass for people who like their music pumpin'. Perfect for the average person listening to music for the joy of music.
  • Pros: -Bass amplifier gives very rich sound -bass is powerful. the headphones literally shake on your ears when the amplifier is turned on all the way and you are listening to a heavy bass song. -decent quality sound -look pretty cool -block out a good amount of background noise
  • Cons: -snug fit on people with bigger heads -without the bass amp on the low ranges are rather quiet. -you have to balance the bass amp out with the music volume.
