Summary: By now, if you have been searching you have seen some cons on these headphones. Whatever you have heard do not believe. these are some serious headphones, great for all kinds of music. I listen to rap, hip hop, rock, and techno. the bass proves itself to me completely. it's like my dad's 17 speaker/ 2 ft subwoofer surround sound.
Summary: Got these for my son for his 18th birthday to replace some other Skullcandies. He thinks they are the best headphones he's ever used, and he has used my Bose! Price and service were excellent. Would definitely buy these again and highly recommend them.
Summary: Over the years from gaming and listening to music i fell in love with the Plantronics dsp500's, also known as the gamecom pros now. Well I went through about 4 of those over the last 6 years and tried different ones in between but always went back because of the comfort and sound. Well when my last dsp's broke I went to best buy and demo'd these skullcandy's and they were amazing for the price.
Summary: Forget about all the numbers that everybody is throwing at you. Let's face it, if you're going to be that critical about the sound of headphones you wouldn't be looking at a set that runs this cheap. My biggest complaint about these are that they are in fact very cheaply made. This is most noticeable with the battery compartment. The padding is a little too hard as well and not nearly as comfortable as my Bose headphones.
Summary: First of all Skullcandy provides a lifetime warranty on all there heaadphones so when you read other reviews about durabilty DONT EVEN TRIP cause they got your back. But real talk these knock hard and if your like me and love bass bass and more bass you have found the right headphones. Sure you need a battery for the amplifier but rechargable batteries are not a bad invesment. I use them for my Zune and when vol. is only 12 i cant here anything besides music YEEEE!
