Perfect

Joshua D., Newegg
  • Summary: I don't know how I see so many reviews of people with issues of it breaking. I bought mine 1-10-2014 and still use everyday. That is just over 2 years and still like new.
  • Pros: Everything. Sound is awesome, comfortable, battery lasts a very long time. They are not as good quality as the Astro A50 (I bought that one for my son) but at about 1/2 the price they much better bang for your buck.
  • Cons: None

Great!

Ian B., Newegg
24 December 2013
  • Summary: Great Headset, definitely designed with gamers in mind. Went back and forth between this and a sennheiser and I am very happy.
  • Pros: -With Optical In / Out the hardware works great. 7.1 works and sounds great, first time I've had that on a headset. I also had no problem with mic volume as some have complained. I have also had no issues with the USB microphone not using optical in. It worked fine on vent and in game BF4. -Very ...
  • Cons: - The ear cups can move in an out of the headset with I don't know, 20 degree movement. This is all well and good for getting a nice fit but it makes the headset seem a little flimsy for its size. - The button on the right ear cup to control volume is also fairly flimsy and can get knocked around...

Classy for Skullcandys

Collin M., Newegg
6 December 2013
  • Summary: Bravo Skullcandy, you finally made a high quality headset without an over-the-top design
  • Pros: -Looks and feels great, love the design, rather minimalist for Skullcandy -Transmitter reaches across my apartment -These things can be LOUD (big pro for me) -Looks flimsy at first, but they are, in fiact, built extremely well
  • Cons: -Powers off if nothing is playing for a few minutes (not that much of a con, could actually be a pro in some instances) -I mainly use this for PC gaming, but the cable for the xbox controller is ridiculously hard to plug in

So Far So Great

Russell R., Newegg
6 November 2013
  • Summary: When I first opened up the packaging and held these in my hand I thought they felt rather light and flimsy. However, this is not the case. While they are lightweight, the headset is very sturdy and well-built. I absolutely love them.
  • Pros: Recently switched from the G930s by Logitech to these and am very pleased with the results. They're comfortable, sound amazingly clear and deep, are light (see other thoughts), and are very sleek.
  • Cons: NONE Lightweight design gives the appearance / feel that they're poorly constructed (see other thoughts).

Nice Headphones

Nathan T., Newegg
3 November 2013
  • Summary: It would be great to have a 3.5" audio input jack right on the headphones, so I could take them on the road/train and listen anywhere. I wouldn't need any other pair of headphones.
  • Pros: Great sound. Transmitter reaches to the opposite side of the house. Setup was easy. Haven't found the end of the battery life yet, I usually wear them for three or four hours at a time.
  • Cons: The charging cable is really short, so if you wear your headphones until the battery dies, you can't plug in and keep listening. I have big ears and the earcups don't quite fit all the way around, so after two or three hours my ears start to hurt a little bit.

Love these things...

Chuck W., Newegg
30 October 2013
  • Pros: Most wireless earphones will only do 20 or 30 feet in my house, and never behind closed doors and down on the first floor. These things work every where in my house - up to 40 feet away and on a different floor! The sound is excellent in both 2.0 mode (stereo) and 5.1. You can actually hear sound...
  • Cons: One problem is the microphone is somewhat quiet; I'm assuming it is because it is noise cancelling. I wish the device used either USB or Toslink. When all you have is USB you only get mono.

Amazing.

Edward C., Newegg
23 October 2013
  • Summary: The only con I had turned out it wasn't with the headset but was with the program I was using them with (Teamspeak 3) I had crackling sounds when people talked, Turned out to be a setting called "Mono Sound Expansion" under Options->Playback, this need to be selected on "Mono to Center Speaker" any...
  • Pros: Comfortable. Relax (Not to tight) They say over the Ears but my ears fit in them. Long Battery Life. Usable while charging. Great sound quality. Loud. Long Range.
  • Cons: None.
