sadly trash

Ernest P., Newegg
7 July 2015
  • Summary: the wireless was nice, but the mic would quit working so quick and then shortly after the whole left side will stop working. serious QC issues.
  • Pros: was a decent headset when it worked.
  • Cons: very cheap build broke on me within 1 year and i went through hell with the RMA and when i did receive the replacement it broke within 6 months. very poor wiring. very thin wire that rips with normal use. also it needs an amp to get actual good sound levels from it.

Nice headset with one annoying flaw

David W., Newegg
26 August 2014
  • Summary: While I listed a few cons, I still rated the product as a 4/5 eggs, as the main reasons you would buy this have been satisfied. The non-configurable auto-shutoff is annoying, but it does serve to increase overall battery life. The major reason for the -1 egg is due to the power button.
  • Pros: Comfortable, wireless, good battery life (due to the con below), not too heavy, great sound quality, both speaker and microphone, great range, comes with all of the cables (including the fiber optic cable!)
  • Cons: Auto-shutoff after 5 minutes of no activity. The power button is flush with the casing, which makes it hard to turn back on, Short headset USB cable

Comfort > Quality

Todd M., Newegg
6 January 2014
  • Summary: probably just a defective headset as the 7.1 would not work at all. the mic is a bit quiet and it does eventually annoy the listeners. it is also very hard to record audio from the mic.
  • Pros: some of the most comfortable headsets I've owned. sound is great and the range is Quite good.
  • Cons: Something on the mic arm broke very early on and now there is rattling in the left cup. also the optical input for the device is now not working, making a crackling sound and always cuts in and out. will be looking for an RMA soon.

Love these things...

Chuck W., Newegg
30 October 2013
  • Pros: Most wireless earphones will only do 20 or 30 feet in my house, and never behind closed doors and down on the first floor. These things work every where in my house - up to 40 feet away and on a different floor! The sound is excellent in both 2.0 mode (stereo) and 5.1. You can actually hear sound...
  • Cons: One problem is the microphone is somewhat quiet; I'm assuming it is because it is noise cancelling. I wish the device used either USB or Toslink. When all you have is USB you only get mono.
