Candy never sounded so good!

beautybab..., Ciao
8 May 2011
  • Excerpt: "...a while. There is a skullcandy logo visible on each of the bright pink 'ears'. I personally adore how neon these are and it contrasts well with the white of the cord and head band. The reason I went for this specific style is because they fold up easily, so they can be put in your bag without being awkward and taking up more space than necessary. They are quite comfortable over your head and ears, I haven't found a problem with these at all except ...

Broken headphones that I miss

boredstud..., Ciao
8 May 2011
  • Excerpt: "...received the same pair of Skullcandy Lowrider headphones pictured for Christmas 2010 and I loved them until they broke after a few month's use. The sound quality is excellent and the sound is enclosed enough that not much escapes to escape your neighbours on the bus. The feature I really miss in comparison with my replacement headphones is their ultra portability. There are enough bends, joints and pivots to enable snug pocket storage when on the ...

  • Excerpt: "...scheme run by Coca Cola. Skullcandy are a very popular brand among my friends and I have heard numerous recommendations about how good they are, so I was very happy with my freebie! The Skullcandy Lowrider headphones are available to buy through many electronics retailers, including Amazon where they are available for varying prices depending on colour etc. The RRP for this item is £39.99. Firstly, Skullcandy headphones are primarily about the ...

Skullcandy Headphones

bubblepop..., Ciao
27 December 2010
  • Excerpt: "...popular choice. These ones from skullcandy are a great addition to the over the ear range. With it being over the ear headphones it can block out more background noise, as the bits that go over your ear cover the whole hear allowing less outside noise to get in. It does this quite well, it doesn't completely block out outside noise, and quite a bit can still get in, but it is much better than in ear headphones I have tried. The size of the head ...

A Victory of Style over Substance

rosebud20..., Ciao

  • Excerpt: "...a shocking pink pair of Skullcandy Lowrider headphones. At £34.99, I felt they were totally overpriced, but she loved the colour, the logo and the fact they folded up and had her heart set on them, so she bought them. Fast forward a couple of months and they are now in my possession, having been firmly rejected by my daughter in favour of in-ear JVC marshmallows (we won’t mention the Apple in-ear ones which cost me a small fortune that she broke) ...
  • Pros: Aesthetics that will appeal to the young although they are garish to me
  • Cons: Mediocre sound, inability to keep your music personal

Skullcandy - Bassing through to my Skellybones!

Emma1973, Ciao

  • Excerpt: "...and begs the questions why Skullcandy has not rectified this. However she did buy another pair only for the other well known problem to occur, the plastic covering next to the headphones split, exposing the wire and not that headphone no longer works. A case of style and no substance methinks, Skulllcandy headphones are not for the serious music fan, the sound is good but getting it to your ears without annoying everyone on the bus is difficult. ...
  • Pros: The look fabulous, sound quality, wouldnt lose them in the dark

  • Summary: While I have the earbud version, theres no doubt in my mind that Skullcandy is here to stay. Great sound and comfortable feeling in your ears is what the selling points that they give, and they dont disappoint either. Will definitely recommend these pair and any pair of the Skullcandy line that they have, and with the price thats very affordable, this makes it even comparable to Sennheiser, which I highly recommend as well.

Comfortable and can adjust to fit you

ballet20, Ciao

  • Excerpt: "I highly recommend these headphones to anyone that likes comfortable and easy listening. The headphones have four mushy pads. One for each ear and two for the top of your head. They are adjustable so they can fit any head size. The cords do not get easily tangled (finally!). The design is great and they come in many different colors. Price Tip: I recommend going to Office Depot for these. There, you can get them for 9.99 instead of the price here. ...

If these break, try an old pair of airline headphones

Alteex, Ciao
18 January 2010
  • Excerpt: "...I had previously read about Skullcandy were not great. I only used these headphones once in order to ‘try them out’, but I think that once is once too many. Behind the garish looks, the product feels cheap, poorly assembled and flimsy. While you may say that most headphones are flimsy, this is a cheap product and this is reflected in the build quality but not in the price. To pay £40 for these headphones is criminal. The sound is tinny, with very ...

Skullcandy Lowrider - Affordable and convenient

bekihandc..., Ciao

  • Excerpt: "I bought these headphones when the inevitable happened and the nice shiny white bud headphones that came free with my ipod fell to pieces. I actually got them on the recommendation of a friend who has the green metallic. I shopped around (which is worth doing), and managed to get them from just under £30 from zavvi, as it was when they were going into administration and everything was going a bit cheaper. I think HMV have them at the moment for £32 ...
