Summary: The voice chat input level is so low, other players can't even hear you. Additionally, sometimes I could hear other players talking, and sometimes not at all. The microphone boom isn't long enough to actually extend out in front of your mouth. The stereo input (game sounds/music) sounds great, but I need voice chat to work. I was testing the headphones on an Xbox 360 using Call of Duty IV.
Summary: I am not a big review writer but after reading the first review I felt that it was needed. I bought two of these, one for myself and one for my son. We use them to do exactly what the first reviewer says can not be done. I mix the audio of the game with the audio of the voice chat all the time. I also like it better than Turtle Beach Ear Force X1 because the Amplifier on the Skullcandy is driven by battery, the Turtle Beach has to be plugged into a USB port.
Summary: These sound good for the price. I have used them on my computer and my 80GB iPod. They fit snugly and are very lightweight. I compared these to my mom's Bose noise-canceling headphones and didn't hear much difference. One thing I did notice: these headphones are much louder than the Bose headphones. The sound these headphones produce when matched with newer music on my iPod (burned from recent or remastered cds) is really sweet!
Summary: These headphones are sweet to look at, but not so hot on functionality. They fit fine, but I'm disappointed in volume quality and control. Your money could be put to better use ... Sony, Bose or such.
Summary: I think everyone else has the headphone specs covered, so I just wanted to comment on the MacRed color, which currently sells for a spectacular $20.93 here. It's a muted warm plum color with a metallic sheen, which is far better than the fire engine red I thought I was going to get. I would get this color even if it weren't the cheapest one available. To add a bit to the specs, the sound quality is rich, clear, and very satisfying.
Summary: Ok I bought these becuase my wife has a pair of Skullcandy Hesh. So I thought these would be kick A"" to there ok. The biggest problem I have with these is they fall off my head all the time so these things are chillin head phones. I got this pair cheap so if you can get them cheap get them because they do sound good not much bass though. Word of advice spend the extra money and get the Skullcandy Hesh they kick and sound better and they dont fall off your head.
Summary: Ahh, skullcandy, great headphones, I like these because of the nice cushion they have on the ear parts, and on the bottom of the top area. The shipping was fast, Nice design, overall 5/5. Great job guys.
Summary: I was greatly disappointed in this headset. I was looking for a headset that would mix the audio of the game with the audio of the voice chat. This one does not do that. It is merely a set of headphones with a mic attached. NO CHAT AUDIO! Maybe mine was broken, I don't know. I'll never know because there were no instructions in the package, no troubleshooting guide, and the company website was down.
Summary: After seeing a few products from the skull candy headphones line, i instantly wanted a pair of the headphones, so i started looking. I wanted collapsible headphones, to make traveling easy, and these fit the shoe. Unfortunetly there were many bad reviews of this product, and i backed away from these headphones. today i was at fye, and saw a pair for 20$, and decided to buy them because of the price.
