Get them they're worth it

Isaac C., Newegg

  • Summary: I have a case that works just as fine maybe a littke bit above.
  • Pros: Great sound, color, cord lengh (3.9 ft), comfortable, lifetime warrenty, great base. I use them for listening to music on the pc so I get my fair share of all kinds of music especially rap, dubstep/techno, and rock.
  • Cons: No case and get to loud but thats my fault for putting the max volume.

Awesome heaphones.

Chris D., Newegg

  • Summary: I've always heard good things about Skullcandy, and these live up to the hype, for an economy model. I listen to metal/rock and the speakers can handle the punishment. I just wish the mic had an optional jack for pc input, but that isn't a deal breaker, since i use them primarily for my ipod touch.
  • Pros: Very good sound quality, and well constructed. 'Anti-tangle' cable is always nice to have Comfortable after extended use. (no 'raw ear' irritation) They are collapsible for easy storage. Works wonderfully with skype on my ipod
  • Cons: The cord is a tad shorter than I previosly thought. No mic when using them on the pc (oversight on my part)

Good phones, misleading info

Ian T., Newegg
6 January 2012
  • Summary: You should really explain that this product is meant for smart phones only. With only one 1/8" plug i can not use the microphone on my computer, which is why i bought them. However, my fiancee can use them so no hard done.
  • Pros: high quality headphones, good bass sound and great noise. In line mic is for phones.
  • Cons: Only one port, not meant for computers.

Bought for my sister...

Johan E., Newegg
1 January 2012
  • Summary: bought it for 30 bucks, good for its price.
  • Pros: I bought this as a Christmas present for my sister. -looks good -sounds pretty good -has a mic (not tested yet) compatible with phones -foldable for transport
  • Cons: -sound quality could be better, but still much better than her standard Apple earbuds -somewhat flimsy top -hard-to-open packaging

Great Sound!

Jeremiah G., Newegg

  • Summary: I bought them on sale during a 40% off skullcandy headphones deal, though they lowered in price since I bought them.
  • Pros: Very clear audio, very comfortable, and semi noise-cancelling. I never realized how important bass was to music until I purchased these headphones. The cord is fabric/nylon rope, and is very sturdy, as well as long.
  • Cons: None really, though the mic seems useless to me (doesn't work on my Motorola Atrix 4G)

Almost perfect.

  • Summary: I really wish the cord was longer. The old sony headphones I had came with 6.6ft and these are much shorter. I had to purchase a cord extender because I use these on the computer and not with an iPhone or the like. So please take a look at how much cord you are really going to need in your set up.
  • Pros: These headphones are very comfortable with great audio clarity. The heat shrink on the ends is all even and should last for awhile. I was using some sony studio headphones and these blow them out of the water with how crystal clear the sound is and how deep the bass is when listening to anything ...
  • Cons: The padding at the top is a little hard at first and takes some getting use to but after a few hours you will not notice anything. I was somewhat disapointed when I was looking at the box and it stated that I should have a travel bag included. There was no travel bag :( The travel bag was no list...

Skullcandy Lowrider headphones

Cal, ReviewStream
28 July 2010
  • Excerpt: I have always liked earphones better than headphones, as they’re easier to keep in your bag or in your pocket, but after watching some people wearing these Skullcandy headphones in the street, I liked the design and ended up buying them. You can find them in different colours, and in …

  • Summary: Seems to be a lot of bad reviews for skullcandy on here, personally, I love em. I've owned 4 different pairs of Skullcandy phones over the past 3 years and they've all impressed me.
  • Pros: They sounded better and were more comfortable then the $70 pair of Sony headphones they replaced, not too bad for a $20 (what I paid for em) pair of phones. Nice amount of bass for phones this size, trance and hardcore sound great on these =] Had these for over 2 years now, which is impressive si...
  • Cons: The speaker cones in mine are pretty blown out by now after 2 years of listening to MP3/CD players at max volume
