Summary: The sound quality is A-OK, and worth what they're usually sold for in most shops. The nice, plastic design is pretty and the surfaces smooth and easy to customise if you prefer to paint them yourself. The quality of sound and the price are usually sound, and they do look very nice.
Pros: Good sound, lightweight, folds well, looks nice
Cons: pressure on ears, hurts if used too long, insecure fit, not very durable
Summary: These headphones were not designed very well imo. There is a noticable seal problem. The headband has zero pressure and the earcups swivel in the wrong direction. When you press on the earcups for seal, the sound gets much better.
As a result, the sound is suprisingly bass light for a skullcandy.
Summary: OK, so I didn't buy the purple ones really. In fact I didn't buy Skullcandy headphones at all. They were given to me FREE with a mobile phone contract, and as a result, I dismissed them as a cheap freebie giveaway pair of nonsense rubbish. Mistake.
Excerpt: The time has come to buy a new headphones for your laptop or for your mp3 player, ok there are plenty of choices available, but if your’re thinking of spending around 30 EUR and stopped on Skullcandy Lowrider, just look what we’re thinking...
Pros: portable and comfortable, light weight, good design, wide range of beautiful bright colours options, turn heads
Cons: Average sound quality, Bass could be thumpier and deeper, build quality, fragility
Summary: Skullcandy's try-hard product styling and marketing mut rub anyone other than teenage surf wanabees the wrong way, but the Lowriders are surprisingly good. Actually they're better than good – crisp, clear and detailed. Well worth the price.
Summary: Introduction Have you ever been in a situation where you had to choose between sound quality or portability while travelling? If yes, then this review is meant for you. We discuss how the Skullcandy Lowrider is the ideal and economical travel headphone .
