Excerpt: These headphones are basically Satan in a Sunday hat. (I am totally referencing True Blood here! But for those of who are not familiar or who do not find that show to be their cup of tea, that phrase basically means--according to Urban Dictionary, who could not have stated it better: something that is really bad is disguised as something pretty/handsome/beautiful.
Excerpt: I bought these headphones to use with my ipod. After a few months the sound started fading in and out and then it would only come out of one of the buds at a time. I had to hold the cord a certain way to get sound to come out and it made it impossible to listen to songs where the music or the singing was coming out of the different buds. After a few months of bad quality sound, they just stopped working. I didn't have the receipt anymore.
Summary: Really disappointed in these ear buds. I would have gone with any other brand just because I am not into the fad of skulls being cool. These are terrible sound. Absolutely no bass and sound tinny. Like I'm listening through a tin can. I paid almost twenty bucks and really only wanted to pay about $9 as there are many brands out there at other stores for this price. Store selection was limited to SC and Sony. SC being the cheapest.
Summary: I purchased this item for my daughter for Christmas. After 1 week of use one of the earbuds completely stopped working. Am not sure how I can exchange them for another set either, since they were technically gifted by Santa. It would blow her belief to pieces, so she just uses the one that works. I feel so bad!
Summary: I thought because these are "Skullcandy" they would come with a good reputation, especially backed by a strong brand like Paul Frank. I was very wrong on both accounts. I have never owned a lesser quality earphone when it comes to sound quality. Every slight movement, in fact every breath is amplified through these headphones. It is like listening to your music through a stethoscope through your own skin.
Summary: The sound is adequate, but not great. However, these headphones broke within less than 1 month after purchase. I am not particularly hard on wear and tear, but one of the two cables going into the plug,(not sure if it's the ground or the signal as I haven't metered it out), already has a loose connection. Now I can only use them while holding the cord at a certain orientation so as to complete the circuit.
Waste of money. They broke after a couple of weeks

Summary: Worst purchase I've made in a long time. These earphones stopped working after being used for less than a week. Just a few days outside of the return policy and the store wouldn't exchange them for me.
