Summary: I hate earbuds--they block ambient noise, suction themselves in your ears and fall out frequently. I also didn't like my children using the in-ear earbuds, so when I found these headphones, I bought them immediately. I like them for my kids as I don't like them blasting music through earbuds (and possibly damaging their ears). My kids had no problems keeping them on and thought the designs were great.
Summary: First of all, I'd like to say I have placed an order for these Skull Candy headphones on June 14, 2009 and it's now July 2, 2009 and they STILL haven't begun shipping. This is a bunch of bull! How an item is in that much demand is beyond me. These headphones better be the best things I've ever had in my entire life for this wait.
Excerpt: Skullcandy is hands down the BEST brand for headphones and these little birdies live up to the brands quality! Don't let the cute girly design fool you, these pretty little earphones pack a huge punch. Stylish design, fabulous quality, super durable, very esy to use - I could go on and on!
Summary: I love these headphones! Like other clip style earphones, they allow me to hear ambient noise, which is great for when I'm at work and need to hear if my phone rings or someone talks to me. The sound quality is really good, even at higher volumes. They are surprisingly comfortable, and I don't have a problem with them sliding off when I am lying down, as my Sony PSYC clip-ons do.
Summary: The sound quality and volume is great with these, they don't distort the sound and can go from silent to very loud. The lack of padding reduces muffling of your music or tv shows, and the quality is just overall great. They are also very attractive, and come with a second pair of clip ons, which are light pink with dark pick birds. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for some good headphones that aren't earbuds.
