Summary: When I bought these 7 years ago because I thought they looked neat. I was wrong. My tastes have changed and I am no longer 16. I payed full $50 retail, because I was an idiot.
When I bought them I realized that they sounded AWFUL. I had owned many pairs of upper end Koss (I know Koss doesn't make high end) and entry level Sony HP's and these weren't even in the same league.
Sound: Just bad, it's not worth describing highs, lows or mids, they are all equally bad.
Excerpt: I was very disappointed in these headphones. From the beginning the sound would go in and out especially from ear to ear due to a flimsy cord. After 3 months they dont work at all except for static with intermittent sound. Not worth the money!
Summary: I brought these as a christmas present for my son. When he opened them on xmas day they did not work and I had to return them! Very disappointed as the quality of skull candy is usually pretty good!
Summary: Selected this as a birthday gift for my younger brother ,it was delivered on time nicely packed n all.. BUT the headphones were dead on arrival. NO sound whatsoever. Major disappointment. Have initiated a return. Fingers crossed for that to go through smoothly. Not my first disappointing experience with skull candy. They better pull up their socks. Anyhow, am steering clear from this brand for the foreseeable future.
Summary: Bought it but realized after some 15 days that the detachable cord is not working fine. It needs to go all the way up in the jack in headphone to sound properly but one needs to hold it. As soon we leave, it looses that point of touch and starts sounding odd with no vocals and only some faded music. Now I need to utilize the warranty, whose process is very confusing.
Summary: So I opened it to find the cheaper Rasta version, definitely not a good start, then the box wasn't even in great condition and neither were the headphones. Instead of new Skullcandy Hesh Gridlock style headphones i got somewhat second hand Rasta model. Not impressed.
Summary: I bought three white ones for my cousins. They actually came in pretty nice packing with proper boxes. But when I opened one box today, I found it's FAKE. The plastic is very cheap. Besides, it does NOT have a reflective metal thing on the outer part of the earcups, which the genuine ones have. I compared it carefully with those on the Skullcandy official site and had watched this review here [...].
Summary: Bought these thinking they looked good and made by skullcandy so not that bad but boy was I wrong its like it was made for a small child or something its too tight and feels uncomfortable after a few minutes of use,
