  • Summary: From my POV, I like this headset, I am using it to upgrade from my headset at work. due to sound isolation issue. This one doesn't isolate too much so that I can still know if some one really need to catch my attention.   Overall sound quality is good to me. Highs are pretty crisp. Mids are little muddy. Lows are little low. (maybe the impedance of the driver or my small amp). Anyway, equalizer will fix it and the headset can  handle it.
  • Pros: If you looking for upgrade from your annoying in-ear or headset
  • Cons: All around headset bass is a litle weak, but equalizer will fix the issue.

Good sounding headphones

jh, Amazon
4 February 2015
  • Summary: Good sounding headphones, one side of the plastic cracked where it extends only a few months after getting them. Seems to be a common enough problem after I did some googling. They were being tugged too much or anything, they just seem to have a weak point in the plastic. Again though.. good sounding headphones!

Good value for money

Louie Mussenden, Amazon

  • Summary: They were very good headphones lasted about a year before the right side begun to crack and another month before they stopped playing sound, I think it was the jack connection that broke, but they were used constantly. I definitely recommend these as a good pair of value for money headphones. Happy with my purchase, may buy again.

Great if you plan to use for a short time only!

  • Summary: I purchased these headphones because these things have 50mm magnets and I really like my electronic music with plenty of bass. They do have a decent sound but unfortunately the consequence of the design is that too much heat is generated for comfortable listening. Also, the cable is ridiculously long for any other use other than the intended purpose DJing.

Terrible build quality, mediocre sound

Ashley Ashdown, Amazon

  • Summary: I first bought a pair of these 16 months ago and have since got through two pairs. I'd only heard positive things about shure earphones so didn't believe it to be a particularly risky investment. On the first pair, sound stopped coming out of the left earcup (presumably an internal break in the wire) after about 8 months of use.

  • Summary: Excellent buy. Shopped around and from reviews these were the best in terms of sound and durability. Came with a lovely leather pouch to keep them safe. Quick and efficient delivery too. My son is absolutely delighted with this gift.

Not for me!!

Sebastian, Amazon
8 October 2013
  • Summary: These headphones are absolutely gigantic and recommended for indoor use ONLY due to design. I'm pretty familiar with the "Shure" brand as I own another two pairs of their in-ear headphones, however, I wanted more comfort with quality of sound and boy was I disappointed. It could be that they are too cheap regarding the price point as other top quality Shure headphones are much more expensive or that they are not design to work with low output power devices (Phones,...

pretty good.... except

  • Summary: The sound is very satisfactory. However this is spoilt by the pain. They are very tight on the ears and I find no way to reduce the pressure. "Replacement set of ear pads included" NO they were not.
