Excerpt: My wife sat 4 feet in front of my while I had these on and I couldn’t hear a word she was saying, nor could I hear the TV in the background. The Shure SE115 were also amazingly comfortable. The longest I’ve been able to test these earphones out was 2 hours straight, and my ears were not hurting or irritated at all. I am very pleased with my purchase of the Shure SE115, and for any audiophile or music fan out there, do yourself a favor and indulge in these headphones.
Excerpt: They were comfortable to wear because they can be worn right inside the ears, and not outside of them. What I meant was, my earphones had the right width and size to be worn right in my ears and they don’t cause any damage to my ears at all. They are very good for travel or ordinary use. They offer a lot of comfort and the cord is long enough. I think that it is an inexpensive alternative to costly ones available.
Summary: My son and husband like to use these earphones when they ride their bikes. I ordered a pair for my husband but when they arrived he was out of town, so I tried them and liked them so much I kept them. I use them to walk the dogs and travel. They fit my ears which is a rarity.
Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Durable, Good Bass, Good Value, Great Sound, Lightweight
Summary: I purchased these Shures for myself, and the sound is simply great. I immediately noticed a boost in sound quality from the stock iPod headphones. The sound is unparalled by others in the $100 price range. The cord is extremely long and tangles easily. And just as a fair warning, the earphones have this middle part where an extension jack and the eactual earphones meet, and that proves to be somewhat cumbersome when winding up my iPod.
Pros: Affordable, Clear Sound, Durable, Great bass
Cons: Bulky/Heavy, Hard to break into them, Long cords, Tangly cords
Summary: I would like to say my tastes are broad and eclectic. I have all my music in Apple Lossless and own a roster of live performances and studio albums. If you're looking for a step up from your pre-packed iPod headphones that make listening to your music as personal and private as the WikiLeak cables scandal, then the SHURE SE115's certainly provide very tight noise isolation. I now own a pair of Shure SE535s and they compare reasonably well.
Pros: Heavy bass and great mids, excellent isolation.
Excerpt: "These are excellent headphones. I have really big ears and my girlfriend has really small ears, the point of this is that that they fit in both our ears. So if you have big or small ears these are perfect. They have designed this especially for a mixture of ear sizes with the highest quality of comfortability. These are very comfortable and do not irritate the ear what so ever, unlike other cheaper headphonesThe sound quality is also a very high standard. ...
Pros: really comfortable, fits all ear sizes, durable and excellent sound quality .
Excerpt: "...anyway purely because they were Shure headphones and I had my heart set on them. I got them delivered as i bought them off the internet and i was surprised to see how big they were, but don't let that scare you they are still in-ear earphones and once in they look pretty much normal and they also justify their size. In the box you get a variety of different sized earbuds the usual silicon ones and foam ones which you squeeze insert, they expand ...
Pros: Big on Bass, Great overall warm sound, for music lovers
Cons: Maybe not worth the money if you don't love your music
