Pros: Sounds Great! Easy Setup! I want to comment especially on the packaging. They come in a packaging masterpiece! The outside has a plastic seal as do the internal packages which contain your accessories, so you know you're the first to use your new toy. The blister pack containing the phones and stand is snapped together so that it can be opened without damaging the packaging or its contents.
Summary: They tend to be a bit hot, but so are all circumaural and even larger supra-aural.
Pros: Unbelievable sound reproduction, crystal clear (or Kleer), light, comfortable to big heads, very good battery life (I never ran out even after a full day of use), suede/microfiber material on ear-cups.
Cons: Need to turn on both base and headphones; I would prefer they were like the RS-120 where the base is "always on". No auto-off (but it's better than the overly aggressive auto-off in the RS-120), but you can turn the headphones off and the base will turn itself off, not that the latter matters.
Summary: I had been using wired earbuds to avoid disturbing others. This was OK as long as you didn't need to go for a beer.
So I bought a Sony wireless without doing any research. Bad idea. Money wasted.
Then I did the research of reviews and bought the Sennheiser RS180. The reviews were good and the technology looked good. It is better than I had ever imagined.
Pros: No hiss and pop. Great bass. Good range inside the home.
Cons: Short range outside the home. Makes your ears hot
Summary: As good as the similar product mentioned is, which is very good, the RS 180 is every bit as good. I book both to another level by adding the mentioned sound card to my desktop PC. The output of this sound card can be tailored in ways that other sound cards cannot even begin to compare. If you want to hear an already acoustically outstanding RS 180, take it to another level as just mentioned.
Summary: Ok, well I listed a whole bunch of pros/cons up there, so here are the other things I will mention:
1. I got these on newegg for $220. I ended up using them virtually for everything. One gripe I suppose is if the volume of what you're listening to is low, maxing the volume will only do so much, and that adding an amp won't do anything.
Pros: Nice clear sound, found it on sale, charger is easy to use and a nice stand, very lightweight and comfortable to wear
Cons: buttons on headphones are mediocre, somewhat hard to tell if power is on or off on stand and headset
Summary: I am mildly hard of hearing. These headphones help me to hear all of the people on television, especially the female voices. The controls on the headphones are a little hard to use, but not that bad.
Summary: I have been using my Sennheiser RS 170 wireless headphones for over a year. I use them almost every day for 3 to 8 hours. They recharge very fast and last for over 8 hours on a single charge. The headphones are very comfortable. They are good for about 40 feet from the base, even through walls. The sound is excellent for my purposes. I use them primarily to watch T.V. and sometimes to listen to music.
Pros: Battery Life is very good, 8+ hrs. Great Sound
