Summary: I bought these headphones just before starting redecorating my house. I have used the headphones while painting my house and it was a great experience. The digital connection between transmitter and phones was never lost, not even when they were separated by two floors of armoured concrete. These phones only lighty press on your head, you can easily forget that you're wearing them.
Pros: Very comfortable, affordable, great for movies
Cons: Somewhat analytical for classical music, influences wifi connectivity of laptops etc., buttons on the phones tiny.
Summary: abt gave me great terms and rapid delivery. My wife and I both have some hearing loss, and with two pair we really enjoy TV programs and our CD player a great deal more. Also one of us can listen without bothering the other one because the speakers can be muted. I wish the ear covers were available in several sizes.
Pros: Clear Reception, Good Base Control, Great Fidelity
Cons: Ear Covers A Little Small, Mediocre Range, Need To Remove To Adj Vol
Excerpt: Was looking for some wireless headphones for some late night movie watching ( got tired of reading subtitles with the volume low ) and came across these. Debated between the RS170 and the RS180, but decided on the 180 after finding a decent deal on them. The headphones have very nice and clear sound, utilizing the "Kleer" technology. I've heard the previous models had some background noise problems. I haven't done much music listening, but has been great for movies.
Summary: I've had 3 different styles of wireless headphones, all Sennheiser. They were all awesome in set up, sound, ease of use. I'm a Bose customer way back and even if they did make wireless headphones, I'd stick with these. They are pricey but worth every penny. I can use these with my computer to watch my iTUNES, with my Apple TV, I just love these things. Right now I'm using them with my IPAD!
Summary: A lot of research led me to the RS-180, but I wasnt prepared to cough up close to $600 Australian.
I had little choice but to shop offshore, and saved around 50% including fast shipping.
Having had them for just 4days as I type this I have them plugged into a DAB Plus radio and am not disapointed.
Pros: Build quality is really nice., Sound quality is better than I thought it would be., Simple to setup and use.
Cons: Not that I use them but the control buttons on the unit are very small and could be difficult to use without taking it off your head.
Pros: Sounds Great! Easy Setup! I want to comment especially on the packaging. They come in a packaging masterpiece! The outside has a plastic seal as do the internal packages which contain your accessories, so you know you're the first to use your new toy. The blister pack containing the phones and stand is snapped together so that it can be opened without damaging the packaging or its contents.
Summary: They tend to be a bit hot, but so are all circumaural and even larger supra-aural.
Pros: Unbelievable sound reproduction, crystal clear (or Kleer), light, comfortable to big heads, very good battery life (I never ran out even after a full day of use), suede/microfiber material on ear-cups.
Cons: Need to turn on both base and headphones; I would prefer they were like the RS-120 where the base is "always on". No auto-off (but it's better than the overly aggressive auto-off in the RS-120), but you can turn the headphones off and the base will turn itself off, not that the latter matters.
