Excerpt: This is another Sennheiser quality product. Performance as specified has no equal in the wireless headphone field. No noise, hum or fade out. Comfort will depend on the size and shape of the users ears. as these headphones fit over the ears. The automatic gain control is an important addition to this model. It assures that you do not have to adjust very often the small inconvenient to manipulate volume control buttons located on the headset itself.
Excerpt: I have a problem hearing the higher frequencies (brought on by loud noises back in Nam, not Woodstock), so I use the headphones for listening to the TV. The Good - with the headphones I can hear everything clearly. I can also hear the phone ringing and someone knocking at my door. They fit comfortably. The Bad - not all the buttons on the headphone have raised indicators and they are very close to each other, so many times I hit the wrong button.
Summary: Good wireless cans. You pay a premium for decent wireless headphones, and this series of wireless headphones really deliver the goods. My wife and I both use Sennheiser RS-160, RS-170 and RS-180 wireless headphones almost every day. I use the RS-160 in the shack with my ham transceivers.
