Summary: The reason I give these Headphones 3 stars is the lack of bass response. They have a bass boost button but all that does is make the bass( which I consider light) louder. They're comfortable to wear and basically do what you expect from a pair of headphones.
Summary: I had two of these headphones. The first I had to send back after about six months - it stopped working. With Amazons returns policy I was able to get a replacement. The second set stopped working after about 14 months.
Summary: Bought these for my 85 year old mother to replace her old, cheap headphones. They are expensive but they provide crystal clear sound and a relatively easy to use docking tower. Very comfortable headphones that don't leak sound to others in the vicinity, unlike cheap headphones.
Summary: Bought a set of these, also a set of spare headphones for two people wanting to listen. They are first rate. I cannot go back to speakers now, unless I was offered Definitive Technology set up. You get what you pay for so don't bother with other cheaper sets.
All you could ask for in a pair of home headphones.

Summary: There is no interference and plenty of isolation with these 'phones. The 3D sound stage is faultless, likewise the bass boost. The set up is a doddle, the range excellent and I couldn't be happier with them, well worth the money.
Summary: I have never been able to use a 5.1 system, because of the noise, that is upsetting the wife. The Sennheiser RS 170 is absolutely brilliant, all the sounds and effects make you feel as if you are in the middle of the picture.I have had Blu-rays for a few years and tried them with my normal...
Excerpt: I actually ordered in the RS 180 which are not listed in store, but they are very similar in specs and design. These headphones are absolutely amazing, I hear sounds and music like I've never heard before. Crystal clear and dynamic. The best quality sound I have ever heard.
