Summary: What a great pair of headphones! My very fist pair of wireless headfones and I am very happy with them. First things first I found them uncormfortable to begin with, (I even contemplated returning them), but on the 2nd day I started getting used to them and now I find them very cormfortable! They are not too heavy and look and feel of good quality. I even prefer watching a film on my own now because I get to wear these cans.
Summary: I'm no audiophile but these babies are the bees knees as far as I'm concerned. I bought them so my long suffering wife doesn't have to listen to what she describes as a swarm of disgruntled wasps in a drum. You and I know it as Formula 1. As yet I've not had chance to use them for said purpose but the sound reproduction is so good that I frequently use them when watching TV. They are also quite effective for avoiding conversations you don't want.
Summary: THE BEST ON EAR HEADPHONES I HAVE EVER HAD. These headphones are great. The sound quality is excellent-no annoying hiss that you get from other makes. The bass and surround sound functions are excellent for movies and gaming ect.The only negative thing about them is that the leather rim around the headphone's (which are very comfortable) does get a little sweaty if you wear them for over an hour.I would definitely recommend these headphones to anyone looking for a great...
Summary: On the basics, these are comfortable headphones with high quality sound - it is a different experience to the old InfraRed (IR) headphones which used to crackle and break up. Aside from the usual volume control, there is a 3D-like effect which gives an airy feel without sounding too processed and a bass boost. Connecting up, with my TV I found it best to use the line out rather than the headphone socket - the headphone socket had volume issues.
Summary: Yes the headphone controls are a little fiddly and take a bit of getting used to.. but you get used to them! The sound is great and the base response can sometimes have you taking the headphones off to make sure you haven't actually got the 5.1 system on and are blowing away the neighbours! Only real drawback is when you are listening to them whilst the TV volume is also on, i.e.
Warning: Not suitable for musical instrument monitoring!

Summary: Rather than repeat all of the good things already written about these wireless headphones, I would just like to point out a couple of important 'negatives', on the understanding that the sound quality and overall functionality of these phones is pretty impressive (in my opinion). - Time Delay: The design of the receiver/transmitter unit, using a process which converts the audio to digital and sends as a high frequency radio signal, means that there is a delay of some...
Summary: Pros: Crystal clear sound 99% of the time, almost as good as decent corded headphones. Very comfy. Easy charging. Cons: Poor design of controls. Bass distortion at higher volumes. I've bought cheap cordless headphones in the past and they've always suffered from hiss and poor reception. Not the RS170s ! The sound quality is excellent compared to cheaper headphones and is on a par with corded mid-range stuff.
Summary: I had done quite a bit of research before ordering these and I agree with most of the people who bought this product, One needs to turn the volume fully up on the computer and down low on the phones to avoid a slight hiss, the only downside is finding the volume keys on one side of the phones while wearing them, to overcome this I had to glue two small bumps onto the + & - buttons so I could locate them without taking them off and now I would say they were perfect.!
Summary: Bought 30/06/2010. Delivery time as promised by Amazon. User's Manual + Quick Guide + Instruction manual on CD. Easy setup. Excellent quality. Would recommend to anyone with a hearing problem.
Summary: I bought these RS170s over the slightly cheaper RS 160s primarily for the longer range claims in the product descriptions - 80m line of sight claimed. The are virtually plug and play - literally all you need to do is put the rechargeable batteries in , plug the base station into power and your audio source let it charge a bit and away you go. The pack had a 7mm audio jack adapter included. The sound is superb and the bass boost really helps lift IPOD tracks.
