Summary: Excellent pair of headphones. I bought them mainly for listening to the TV so I could have the volume turned up without disturbing others. The volume buttons on the right earcup are certainly very small and hard to find by touch, but with practice I'm starting to find it easier.
Summary: I needed a new set of closed back, over the ear, wireless headphones when the headband on my ageing wireless Philips cans snapped after 8 years of sterling service. I've owned numerous Sennheiser headphones over the years and have always found them excellent, so I didn't have any qualms ordering...
Summary: Had these for a while now and can therefore pass judgement. First of all, the construction seems to be very well done. Ear pads are a bit small but relatively comfortable as long as your movie is under two hours, they can get sore after prolonged use.
Summary: Great while they worked, only lasted 11 months after careful treatment then the sound went, a lot of crackling and the volume button stopped working. Sent them under warranty for repair to the manufacturer under the so called two year warranty.
Summary: Would have loved a pair of Bose Headphones but thought that £290 was a bit too steep. Anyway had a look around and the next best thing seem to be Sennheiser so after reading reviews of them all decided to splash out for the RS170 and how glad am I that I did?
Summary: I used to own a pair of open RS120 FM receivers which I was relatively impressed with but I can safely say the new 2.4Ghz Kleer receiver is a significant step up in sound quality and I wouldn't go back an FM receiver despite the superior range.
Very good wireless headphones for an immersive experience

Summary: I bought these 2 days ago, they came yesterday and I've been using them since, so I thought I'd write a brief review on them. (Just to note I bought these for £140 from here, and I have no idea why they've jumped up £30) Pros: .
Summary: These were purchased to replace my old Technics wireless headphones. I'm an Audio/Visul Technician and use all Sennheiser products at work, so knew I was looking at quality straightaway. I was not dissapointed. I would have even paid good money for the packageing even it was quality made.
Great sound quality spoilt by poor attention to user functionality.

Summary: I bought the Sennheiser RS 170 when my old Sennheiser RS 140 phones eventually failed. The RS 170 certainly has much better sound quality than the RS 140. Also it does not have the annoying habit the RS 140 had of automatically switching off if the source went quiet for a brief period.
Summary: Had these now for 3 months which I bought as a late Xmas pressie to myself. Did a lot of research and plumped for these. Very comfy and easy to wear for hours at a time. Buttons are a little fiddly as others have commented but once you're used to them its fine.
