Unhappy

Hank from Houston, Sonic Electronix
27 January 2014
  • Conclusion: Many of the shows on tv have audio that goes up(action) & down (conversation). I like the audio to be high enough to hear everything, my wife likes audio low. This product has two problems, when vol is up, the audio can be heard by my wife because the audio also goes out of the outside of the headphones . Fixed by placing tape over outside of headphones. Biggest problem, adj'ing tuning(very touchy) to stereo, volume is very low.

Disappointing

stiggy, B&H Photo
30 August 2013
  • Excerpt: I have attempted to use this product with a Samsung flat screen TV. The idea was to isolate outside noise and improve the sound quality heard. Although it is comfortable, the tuning function is difficult to get right. During the process there is a lot of annoying squeaking and quite frankly I could not achieve a satisfactory link that was consistent.
  • Pros: Comfortable
  • Cons: Poor Sound, Poor Value

Charging system

Ron, B&H Photo
29 March 2013
  • Excerpt: I have been using this system about a year for private TV viewing. I am well pleased with the sound quality and simplicity of operation. However, the battery charging system is very frustrating. It is sometimes nearly impossible to get the phones properly positioned on the charging cradle so that the charging light comes on and stays on. The charging connection needs to be more positive and firm.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Good Value, Great Sound, Lightweight, Stylish
  • Cons: Difficult To Re-charge, Falls Off/Out Of Ear

Good while they lasted. But they didn't last long.

  • Summary: Do not buy these phones if you want a pair that will last.
  • Pros: I use these for TV late at night, so I wasn't listening critically. Good volume, good range (especially) and generally a good value.
  • Cons: I have had these for a little over two years and they stopped holding a charge. A full charge lasts ten minutes, so they are worthless. This seems like an awfully short time and I am extremely disappointed.

Could Be a Great Product, If Only.....

StevenCee, B&H Photo
8 October 2012
  • Excerpt: I own this, as well an earlier version, and two later, higher priced models. I love being able to hear my TV, radio, or recorded music even if I move from room to room, and at whatever volume I like, without worrying about disturbing others. They work well, I like the sound, but it's other factors that have caused me great grief, and limited my ability to enjoy these headphones.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Great Sound
  • Cons: Falls Off/Out Of Ear, Flimsy Construction, Placement Of Controls

Over the ear?

MK44, Bestbuy
28 July 2011
  • Summary: The price seems a little high for what you get. The sound isolation wasn't as good as I expected. I probably needed noise cancellation.
  • Pros: The folding and portability is nice
  • Cons: They do not go over the ear
