Summary: These headphones sound good, but not as good as I expected. I bought them for their noise-cancelling feature, which I found disappointing. On an airplane, they don't really cancel that much of the background noise. In fact, when turn off the noise cancelling, it's just barely different.
Pros: Nice storage case. Clean, clear sound.
Cons: Volume is lacking. Noise-cancellation is sub-optimal. Not worth the price.
Summary: I bought these after a long struggle to choose between the Sennheisers and the Bose Quiet Comforts. I chose these based on reviews of comfort and overall sound. Unfortunately and suprisingly the ear cups are TOO large.
Pros: Solid build quality Nice sound
Cons: Horrible low frequency "rumble" on noise cancellation Ear cups too large
Summary: I bought these cans to punish Bose for their shoddy construction of my Triports that snapped into pieces repeatedly. I need a pair of headphones to get me through long transatlantic flights. These are my first impressions.
The sound quality is good, I don't dispute those reviews.
Summary: The sound quality with these headphones is incredible. I have made a few different mistakes with audio equipment in the past, and I wanted to make this time right, so I bought these on the back of their reviews. Mid-range is where it's at; excellent quality with most music tracks.
Summary: For £250 I thought these headphones were going to be awesome but unfortunately I was wrong, They look the part and are very comfortable, but the sound quality isn't that good considering the price plus the battery for the noise cancelling doesn't last long either.
Summary: I bought these back in 2010 and use them on fairly frequent 7 hour flights (6 or so a year) plus occasionally at home. I really like the function that allows you talk to the stewardess without taking them off and they are pretty comfortable although after 6 hours the ears do start to ache a little.
A slight but worthwhile reduction in ambient noise

Summary: I bought these mainly for my daily commute on the London Underground and can only comment on this listening situation. Frankly, their ability to cut out ambient train noise is pretty unimpressive given their heavy price tag and the manufacturer's wildly untrue claim that up to 90% of noise is cut...
Summary: The sound quality of these phones isn't great - I had been using my beyer dynamic's before these arrived and the difference is noticable with the bd's far better. The noise cancelling seems ok - I had a pair of cheaper sony nc phones and the differences doesn't seem that huge to me.
Excerpt: I bought these through minidisc last year to help cancel out jet noise, as I was going to North Asia and Europe. PROS - They do cut out alot of the background hum of the engines. - The talk or pass through button is good (so you can talk to cabi..
