Summary: I bought these cans to punish Bose for their shoddy construction of my Triports that snapped into pieces repeatedly. I need a pair of headphones to get me through long transatlantic flights. These are my first impressions.
The sound quality is good, I don't dispute those reviews.
Ear Pads deteriorate and cost £47.92 to replace. Poor build quality.

Summary: I cannot complain about the sound quality of these headphones. I only use when flying, when going on holiday. So these headphones have had minimum use. Disappointingly though the ear pad covering has started to flake off. I've contacted Sennheiser, and my Email has been ignored.
Summary: These were nice, but, after three years, worn out to the point where I can't use them, with the foam pieces fallen out and the cover material no longer attached. The electrics went a bit random also after a while, sometimes the "sound reduction" button would work, other times not.
Excerpt: I bought these through minidisc last year to help cancel out jet noise, as I was going to North Asia and Europe. PROS - They do cut out alot of the background hum of the engines. - The talk or pass through button is good (so you can talk to cabi..
Summary: Hey folks. I've just got my Sennheiser PXC 450. After reading reviews I thought its noise cancelling capabilities will be great. Well, compared to Audio-Technica ATH-ANC7 QuietPoint these capabilities are poor.
Summary: The sound quality of these phones isn't great - I had been using my beyer dynamic's before these arrived and the difference is noticable with the bd's far better. The noise cancelling seems ok - I had a pair of cheaper sony nc phones and the differences doesn't seem that huge to me.
Summary: The sound quality with these headphones is incredible. I have made a few different mistakes with audio equipment in the past, and I wanted to make this time right, so I bought these on the back of their reviews. Mid-range is where it's at; excellent quality with most music tracks.
A slight but worthwhile reduction in ambient noise

Summary: I bought these mainly for my daily commute on the London Underground and can only comment on this listening situation. Frankly, their ability to cut out ambient train noise is pretty unimpressive given their heavy price tag and the manufacturer's wildly untrue claim that up to 90% of noise is cut...
Summary: For £250 I thought these headphones were going to be awesome but unfortunately I was wrong, They look the part and are very comfortable, but the sound quality isn't that good considering the price plus the battery for the noise cancelling doesn't last long either.
