Summary: My boyfriend is a DJ and owns studio quality headphones and I let him test the product for me. I think they are pretty good but the power of these comes from the noise canceling stick.
Pros: Amazingly lightweight! Clip on the sound canceler seems very sturdy. The sound cancellation was able to cancel out the noise of the highway in the distance at my apartment. I like the stick. It was a good way for me not to run over the cables with my computer chair. I just connected it to my pock...
Cons: So I looked at the picture and I didn't realize that the ear muffs were so small! It's fine because the head set seems pretty flexible, and the muffs are leather-like and comfortable, like two little pillows. *The Big Issue* It went mono! The right ear piece played no sound until I turned on the ...
Summary: The cord seemed a bit flimsy thus questionable on its durability. The head set cord can be shorten by about 10”, and still leave enough for the wearer to move freely. This shorter length can rid the worry of getting tangle, plus not being an obstruction.
Pros: Took a 3 hour flight with it on and had experienced the most pleasant audio from the sound source, and none of the noise from the surrounding environment. It's light weight and comfortable designed truly made it worthwhile to own.
Cons: The controller having a tubular dimension of 5.25' & 0.875' can be cumbersome.
Summary: Got this thing for free with a combo deal with the HD280. well, can't argue too much too for free stuff. As a side note, the NC is actually better than RCA full size ones I tried before.
Pros: -Noise canceling is pretty good for its size, took out most of my fan noise -Sound quality at mid-range very good
Cons: -The NC unit is HUGE, originally I wanted to use this for my MP3 player. That thing is 3 three times the size of my MP3 player -Annoying muffling sound with NC on -NC actually does worse job than the passive isolation on my HD280 -Base is pretty not strong enough, I can hardly hear the drums
Pros: These headphones are very comfortable (I don't wear headphones unless I have to, I don't care for them), lightweight, sound great and do in fact cancel background noise. When my office mate gets on the phone, out come the Sennheisers.
Cons: None to speak of. They do use batteries, but I don't know what the battery life will be.
Summary: I was quite impressed with the sound quality of this product. I had read that noise canceling phones usually had inferior audio performance when compared to non-canceling phones, but that's not the case here. The only real caveat is the hiss produced when noise canceling is active.
Pros: Above average sound quality. Reasonable price. Same noise canceling technology as pricier Sennheiser models. Fairly comfortable.
Cons: Unwieldy pen shaped noise canceling module hangs off of the phones. Audible hiss introduced when NC turned on.
