  • Summary: Well controlled sound, just like most other Sennheisers. Those headphones are reasonably efficient. Most protable players should be capable of driving them to unhealthy level. Before I get more specific I need to state that I listen to mostly classical music and latin jazz.

Just Ok.

Stephen M., Newegg
17 February 2009
  • Pros: Lightweight, comfortable, not very expensive. Decent midrange.
  • Cons: Nowhere near as good as the PX100. I have owned the PX100 for over 3 years, having 2 pairs in that time used everyday. These are nowhere near as tight and clear. Low bass is very muddy, smeary and not as "tight". I recieved a gift certificate and these were the exact amount plus shipping of the c...

Sennheiser PX200 Headphones

Maeprof, Rate it all!
2 October 2008
  • Summary: First, I genuinely like the product very much because it produces solid sound for light-weight headphone. I very much liked the collapsible nature to carry in a more compact situation.

A bit of a disappointment

Istvan G., Newegg
27 August 2008
  • Summary: The px 100 has foam pads, and quite comfortable. The px 200 has leatherette covered rings that sit on (not around) your ear. Over time, makes my ear numb. I can not have them on more than an hour or two. I tried them with my digital piano..
  • Pros: Pretty good noise isolation. Foldable /portable design. The sound is better than your average cheap mp3 headset. Nice high-end.
  • Cons: Noticeably worse bass and soundstage than the cheaper px 100. To my ears, sounds pretty thin. Supposed to have excellent "kraftvoller bass"... not. IMO not worth the extra money. It was especially bad with my iphone. I am saying goodbye to these.

  • Pros: Good compact headphones can easly store in my notebook case. Good sound, fits sungly on the head, comfortable ear pads.
  • Cons: Bass breaks up under full volume, some distortion.

  • Summary: These were my first portables. They're extremely portable and comfortable. They're small and they come with a neat case which I didnt really use since putting it in the case was not easy. These phones sound good for the price and seem well-balanced throughout the sound spectrum.

Pros and Cons

Anonymous, Newegg
13 August 2004
  • Summary: This is a somewhat decent set of headphones. Let's do a pros and cons (Please note - I've had them less than 24 hours, but have done a 12 hour break-in...) Pros: 1. Fits snugly, eliminates most stray sounds, especially when listening to music. 2.
