Excerpt: These are great headphones. I have used these as well as the previous model (PX100),all day, every day for the last four or five years. They sound fantastic and are very comfortable. Because they are 32 ohms, they pair perfectly with my ipod. The only issue is that after about a year there is a break in the cable which causes one of the ear pieces to stop working. This is my third pair because of this breakage.
Excerpt: I use these headphones for listening to music, primarily from an Ipod. First the good: -great sound quality. These are my 3rd pair (see note about cord lifetime) of these headphones. They sound good and my latest pair has better bass response. - comfort - extremely comfortable. Many times I listen to music before bed and then wake up hours later with the headphones still on - ears do not ache.
Pros: Comfortable, Compact Design, Easy To Use, Great Sound Quality
Excerpt: Much better clarity than any earbuds I've used. Bass is real good considering minimal power behind the signal. Foam ear pads a little on the cheap side and I can see they will wear out quickly. Am mindful of other reviewers' comments about the flimsiness of the plug, so I don't tough it if I don't have to.
Excerpt: My 28-year-old PDP-100 is developing metal fatigue. Nothing lasts forever. Sennheiser discontinued the PDP-100. The PX-100 is the closest thing to a replacement. Its sound is a little harder (more brittle) than the PDP-100. It has features making it an ideal travel headphone. So 4 of 5 stars. The PDP-100 when new (and for about 27 years) was 5 of 5 stars.
Pros: Added features, Comfortable, Compact Design, Easy To Use, Great Sound Quality
Excerpt: I wanted sturdy, compact headphones to use in conjunction with my work as a journalist, where I often record interviews for later transcription. These are fine for that purpose. I had previously owned Sennheiser headphones that provided better audio quality but were not as sturdy as the ones I just bought.
Excerpt: I wear hearing aids but need to use headphones with my computer from time to time. The over-the ear versions cause the hearing aids problems - especially with feedback. The on-ear Sennheiser are perfect for me. The only reason I rated them 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because they are a little snug.
Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Good Value, Great Sound, Lightweight
