Excerpt: In terms of sound quality these are great, although they are getting pricey. This is my second pair, the first lasting about 2 years before the mini-plug imploded. This second pair I bought October 2011 - 8 months ago - and one of the channels just went on, most likely the mini-plug again as I've been careful with the set and they show no physical damage. So I suggest Sennheiser put more thought and material into the chord and plug.
Excerpt: Great sound. Easy to Carry. One fatal flaw. I have had three sets of these, each developed the same problem. The mini plug connection is vulnerable to damage, resulting in one channel becoming intermittent. Wonderful product, until this problem crops up. The wires are too fine to solder another stereo mini plug on. In other words, not fixable by the user. I won't buy another pair. It's a shame though, otherwise a good product.
Summary: Bought for my wife's new Nokia 635 which has her playlists, the phones simply don't work properly. We had to spend a lot of time wiggling the plug in the phone's socket and if we were lucky, it worked. However, most of the time the music continued out of the Nokia rather than the headphones.
Did not last as long as their predecessor, the PX100

Summary: After many years of use, my beloved PX100's broke (at the plastic and screw joint, which connected the headphones to the headband). When I needed to replace them, the PX100's were a thing of the past, so I bought a pair of these PX100-II's instead. Sound was similar - perhaps a bit more pronounced in the bass region.
Summary: im somewhat bemused by the set of headphones i received. Many reviews refer to the better treble and bass in comparison to the px-200 II. Well comparing to my px-200 II treble was totally absent. Yes the bass is bigger and boomier but the overall sound signature was ultra dark and muddied, one of the worst headphones i have ever listen to.
Summary: The quality of these headphones doesn't do justice to the usual high standards of German manufacturing. They come in a very nice case which is made of plastic so brittle; it will inevitably break if you drop it. Additionally, when the headphones collapse in order to be stored inside the case, the ear pads which are covered with a very thin material, are subjected to chafe, owing to a very tight fit, ultimately disintegrating and exposing the spongy material underneath.
Summary: The left speaker blew after a week. Great sound when they work, but they don't work so it's a moot point. It's a gamble buying them as they're a bargain if they last, but an expensive waste when they don't.
Summary: I got this as a free promo gift with my Galaxy Note and all I can say that this is a good headphone but not as great as any other Sennheiser product. I had bought Sennheiser In-ear type headphones previously and they were mindblowing. I was happy that I was getting these headphones free but after using them, I was kind of shocked literally. Though the bass and mid range clarity is pretty good, the volume seems to be dampened and okay for home use only.
Summary: i used to love the PX 100 headphones and have used them for years but they have had 2 major flaws - the cushions on each ear keeps coming off and they do not seem to last over 6 months before going capoot. I thought when the PX100-2 came out they would last longer because they looked a more solid build...... I WAS WRONG , they are worse than the originals and even sound seems to be sacrificed a bit. I do not think i will be buying them again.
