Summary: These hurt my ears after 30-40 minutes of just sitting at Starbucks. Bass is pretty unnoticeable. However, the headphones (as is pointed out in other reviews) sure are louder than others, which is a plus in a coffee shop.
Summary: What can I say about these headphones but they saved my life! I work at a large pharma company, so I do a lot of sitting at my computer. Background music has become absolutely essential, so I need a quality pair of headphones. These headphones fulfilled that need almost perfectly. I owned them for over a year and have never had any problems with them. The sound quality was great and they were very stylish.
Summary: I've tried a number of $50 and under headphones, earbuds, etc. Nothing I've tried comes close to the sound of the PMX60's. It's a full sound, plenty of bass and great high end response. Does not sound shrill or tinny like any of the Sony's I've tried. And they're really comfortable -great for working out. Got 'em for $28 on amazon - can't beat it.
Summary: I'm on my third set of PMX60's. They sound great but the main reason I buy them is they stay in place no matter what you are doing. Working in the yard or going to the track is no problem. I'm on my third set because I abuse the the cord. Once I broke the wire by getting caught on a door handle. I cut the cord with a saw on my last set which were only 3 months old. My fault.
Summary: These seem to be a variant of the PMX-100 headphones but with the around the neck design. I wanted a light and largely open air for around town, shopping and such. They do let others hear a bit but there just a nice general use pair of headphones which I use with my iPod. They are what they are and do it quite nicely - the sound is pleasing with clear highs and decent lows.
Incredible dynamic range headphones for running/fitness!
25 December 2014
Summary: Really happy with these. If you're looking for really great running/fitness headphones and don't want to compromise on music quality, then these are the ones for you. I chose these out of safety too, I couldn't run in closed cup phones because I need my head and ears to breathe. I also need to listen for people and traffic too. The neck strap is useful for hanging the phone on your neck. I also use these out and about walking, they look good and don't mess your hair up.
really good earphones, if you find in-ear headphones too uncomfortable ...
19 November 2014
Summary: really good earphones, if you find in-ear headphones too uncomfortable and studio cans too heavy. They are very comfortable to wear for long periods. For the size the sound is very, very good. Deep base to high treble. I bought these for my wife to replace her old ones. The only thing that I would say is that the ear foam pads do wear out after a lot of use. Luckily replacements are readily available.
Excellent audiophile sound quality as expected from Sennheiser
IAN BURGESS, Amazon
29 July 2014
Summary: Excellent audiophile sound quality as expected from Sennheiser, they fit perfectly flat on my ears as they are big and stick out a bit He! He! I know and have not found any other headphones that would sit properly on my ears, they are comfortable and stable to wear and don't mess up your hairdo, the only reason I gave these neckband headphones a 4 Star rating is they let in the outside ambient noise and you can hear the traffic passing bye so you have to turn the volume...
I wanted a good quality sound over a wide range of music from ...
Bertilak Hautdesert "Bertilak", Amazon
19 July 2014
Summary: I have been on a quest for the last thirty years or so to find headphones that I can use safely while cycling. I wanted a good quality sound over a wide range of music from Dance Hall, through psychedelic pop and Richard Strauss, to Dowland's delicate lute songs. Plenty to choose from you would think. Ha! I've tried in ear buds but they stopped ambient sounds, I tried single a single bud but hated the imbalance.
