I plugged directly into the back and it was a little better, but not much

Summary: after unboxing, I decided to try these out with my music, games and movies. I plugged them into my computer speakers and I had to turn all volume all the way up on both speakers and the set to hear anything at a decent volume. only after heavily applying EQ did they sound decent. It took some time to realize the speakers had no headphone amp. and the mainboard does not amp through the speakers. I plugged directly into the back and it was a little better, but not much.
Solid upgrade to the pc350, grab them while you can.

Summary: As a huge fan of the PC350 it was a shame to see mine finally in need of replacement, I tried the new stuff, the g4me one(essentially a pc360) and the hyper X cloud. While they are both great sets in of themselves they really pinched my ears and the g4me one is a smaller earcup then the pc350 and the pc350 SE(Despite what they say). If you happen to enjoy your ears not being pinched by the cans these are for you.
This is working well for me as an office soft phone headset

Summary: Recently my company mandated that all employees living within 50 miles of the office MUST work from the office cubicle farm. Even if everyone behaves (no youtube, no hen parties), the environment is very noisy. I had a hard time hearing the person I was on the phone with and was mortified when I'd be giving a presentation and people would ask me what was going on in the background where I was calling from.
Summary: I got this for my ps4 so I need an amp anyone an a console will need one, pc a good sound card. I pretty much had to get a bachelors degree in audiophiling but it's still to complicated. Pros really comfortable. Has good sound when powered enough but not as clear as some Philips headset I had lying around will change with an amp. Cons Your ears will get hot but you'll get used to it.
Summary: I liked these headphones, but I returned them and got the G4me One headset instead. The closed speakers sound good, but I don't like how easy it is to hear yourself when you are talking. If you play in loud areas or don't talk much then these would be great. Otherwise, spend the extra $$ and get the G4me Ones. I didn't like the ear cup material as much as the G4me One. Sennheiser makes great headsets.
Summary: Ok so I have had this headset for about a month now. I let it "burn in" for the first week, playing music through it upwards of 18 - 20 hours a day. The burn in did make a difference, Sennheiser always seem to benefit form this time period of breaking them in. The sound on them is great, very clean and clear sound. Nothing is overpowering, they feel extremely balanced. The bass response is good and nothing sounds muddy at all.
Nice headphones, but if you're buying these for gaming
29 September 2014
Summary: Nice headphones, but if you're buying these for gaming, make sure to get an amp too (they need it badly). For the price I would expect a "larger" sound, especially considering that other "name brands" for gaming (like Turtle Beach, Tritton, etc) have huge amounts of bass, and volume loud enough to blow your ears out if you're not careful.
Summary: I LOVE the way it sounds, BUT the cord is HORRIBLE. i love braided cables, but this one gets twisted and bunched up, and i cant seem to get it un-twisted no matter how much i turn it in either direction. it gets to the point where the headset cord is too short for me to move away from my pc chair in my small room, and it cord is actually really long.
Great if you want to keep the world out and the crystal clear audio in!

Summary: The audio quality is the best I've ever had on headphones; listening to my favorite songs was like hearing them for the first time with so many sublte notes I hadn't known were there. Really crystal clear! Gaming has very well balanced sound and very clear. The noise cancelation on the headphones is pretty effective as well.
Summary: I liked these but in the end I returned them. It turns out I prefer a closed cup, I couldn't hear myself talking while wearing these and it was disorienting. I settles for the open cup version, pc360. Both are great, if you prefer closed, these are the way to go.
