Summary: As often is found of reviews, they are written fresh out of the box, within just a few weeks or even days of unboxing. I purchased this headset in July 2014, and it is now March 2015, coming up around 8 months, so a better sense of the product has been established. Shall we begin.
Summary: I primarily bought this for surround sound gaming and the sounds quality is fantastic. They also give you audio files to test the "virtual" surround sound capability, and you can tell which direction the sound is coming from.
Summary: I'm an avid PC gamer, running a two year old iMac. I was looking to make the switch to gaming only on my OSX side (not Win 7 via bootcamp) but was struggling to find a USB headset that was truly supported in OSX and worked well in-game as well over voice chat programs like Vent/Mumble/etc.

I normally wouldn't take a star off for something I consciously knew when I bought it, but this is more in general against Sennheiser because they do not offer anything...
