Summary: My computer, like most, has the ability to treat the HD Audio ports as an additional sound output from the main ports on the back. These work perfect for voice chat when playing games. I have my main speakers play the game sounds, and all voice chat goes into this headset.
Pros: Light weight, pretty good mic.
Cons: As others have mentioned, the mic doesn't go both ways, making it impossible to where on your right ear. The speaker works, but the sound quality could be much better.
Summary: Docked one star for the mic issue, though it doesn't affect me. Really it shouldn't be that difficult to make it able to be worn on either ear.
Pros: This is a good basic single-ear headset. It's nice to be able to hear external sounds while gaming or chatting in case something urgent needs my attention. The sound quality is very good. Microphone is clear with minimal distortion. The cable is fairly long. Certainly long enough to reach from th...
Cons: The mic is only available if worn on the left ear. (Not an issue for me, since I prefer it that way, but others may have a problem with that.)
Pros: They work great. Good sound quality both in listening and recording. Exactly as I expected.
Cons: This headset is not reversible--something that should appear on the product information. This only works on the left ear, which means that I had to wrap the cord around the top of it so as not to have the cord draped across my chest all the time (my PC is on my right). It's frustrating when compa...
Pros: I bought these for some agents in the call center that were complaining about the uncomfortable generic headsets that came with our VoIP package. They immediately noticed a call quality increase and said that they were not picking up background noise like the old headsets used to. Now I have to o...
Cons: It is not reversible, so some of the agents stuck with the old reversible ones.
Summary: The mic drops/elevates and can be bent into position, which I found extremely useful.
Pros: Can be used as a mic only (how I normally use it), headphone only or both. Single ear so I can hear if something is going on in the rest of the house. Sound is clear (when I've used it) and my voice transmits loud, clear and without background noise. Comfortable enough for the 2-3 hours at a time...
Think about what you're **actually** going to use it for before clicking buy button.

Summary: The product itself is decent but the very design of this is flawed. Unless your only use for it is in a non-descript cubicle cold calling people for 8 hours a day. Would not recommend for Skype or any other communications purposes.
Wonderful headset. The mic with noise reduction works flawlessly

Summary: Wonderful headset. The mic with noise reduction works flawlessly, and sound quality is astonishingly good for a device at this price level. I use the headset to record my online classes and for high-quality conferencing.
Summary: Sound quality is good, but the boom only rotates 90 degrees, which means this headset can only sit on the left ear. If it could rotate 180 degrees, then it could have worked on either ear. Very surprised in this design oversight from Sennheiser.
Summary: Excellent price and good sturdy product. I prefer a one ear price headset for gaming so I can hear friends for the ear piece and the game sound out my speakers. The sound should be separate and this headset does a good job at that.
