Summary: Introduction & Criteria
I bought the Sennheiser PC 151 for gaming after my friends bugged me to join them on Team Speak. After looking at a couple of the available options online, including the possibility of setting up a separate mic, I went with my gut instinct to go with Sennheiser. Not much of a purchase justification but trialling headphones here in Australia is difficult to say the least.
Pros: Solid build quality, Great bang-for-buck gaming headset
Cons: Muffled & overbearing bass, Rolled off treble
Excerpt: I use the headset for conducting and participating in webinars at work. Both the headset and microphone work very well. My only complaint is that my Lenovo laptop has a headphone/microphone combo jack so I had to also buy an adapter for the 2 pin setup that came with the headset. It would be good if they offered a version of the headset with a pin for the combo jack.
Excerpt: I've been using this for a while now for everything from basic music listening to voice communications, radio broadcasting and audio editing. The sound quality somewhat surprised me, both on the headphones and the mic, it's quite good (as would be expected of Sennheiser). Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the inline volume control as I'm now having issues with sound cutting out entirely if the wheel is wiggled even slightly.
Pros: Comfortable, Compact Design, Easy To Use, Great Sound Quality, Quality Microphone
Good but gets a bit uncomfortable after an hour or so

Summary: These don't sound as good as my regular sennheiser headphones for music but they are way better than making calls on hands free or phone in hand. So basically they are great if you spend lots of time on the phone.
Summary: So, it was time for a new headset for gaming and music, a situation forced upon me by my old logitech usb one failing. Since I have some Sennheiser in ear headphones I decided to check out their offerings for the computer. The headphones arrived well packaged, but there was no furstration getting into the clear plastic packaging. Unlike other suppliers, this one is not heat sealed so no cutting involved.
