Summary: Learned my lesson and bought a better headset from Newegg and have had it since.
Pros: Decent sound and lightweight.
Cons: Uncomfortable with more than 45 minutes of wearing. I knocked them off my table by accident, which is 4 feet off the ground, and the mic snapped off (on carpet). How they managed to do that still confounds me.
Summary: I have a pair or Sennheiser hd 457 earphones I use for gaming that have a mic duct taped on. I thought these might be better. The sound was still pretty good although not as good as the hd 457's and the mic was certainly better than my taped on one. They were really uncomfortable though.
Pros: Sound quality was good. The mic was also clear.
Summary: It should be noted in the specifications that on the Sennheiser box they rate this product at 5 stars for Internet telephony, 3 stars for MP3-Music-DVD and 2 stars for PC gaming!! Even Sennheiser knows this product is only really good for internet telephony!
Pros: The microphone is good quality with crisp clear sound.
Cons: Poor sound quality for music and gaming. While the headset is comfortable, it does not fit snugly against my ears (I wear a hat size of 7 1/4 so I would say I have an average head size). I wish they had the same ear padding and quality sound as the PC151's.
Summary: My 15 year seems to go through gaming head sets like a hot knife through butter. Told him to get something simple but from a decent brand. So far so good and have listened myself and seems good quality sound. Update 22/4 Now not working in one ear. Seems even good brands are not guaranteed
Summary: I'm writing this review to the manufacturer, as I didn't bought it although it was on my top 3 list. Cons: Cable is not single-sided. No in-line volume control and mute button. I have to adjust volume and mute frequently, and I'm sure having to rotate the microphone up would be very annoying.
Summary: The headphone speakers are satisfactory for their size but the microphone isn't anywhere near as good as my smartphone (LG G3). The microphone sounds very narrow in its frequency range (like a home phone) so if you are using this product for skype or other messaging apps you will be disappointing or...
Summary: The headphones work fine (though the fit isn't the best), but the microphone is apparently worse than a much cheaper pair. Has difficulty picking things up clearly, which makes it a bit useless for the stated purpose of 'VOIP telephony, gaming, etc.
Summary: Bought this to stop my son from using my hair dryer as his overhead headset was causing his hair to flick, unfortunately only lasted about a week of use as he said it is a bit uncomfortable so he reverted back to overhead. Not sure if it's only excuse as I have not used it myself.
