  • Summary: Be careful with your wires.
  • Pros: Louder than you would expect from a small package. Microphone is surprisingly sensitive. Good quality plastic, solid construction. You can bend the plastic head band to make it bigger or smaller by a little.
  • Cons: Cord is easily damaged, it's pretty thin. Happened to mine, but we had 4 large dogs running around at the time.

Cons: dumb review

Colin M., Newegg
19 September 2010
  • Summary: > Cons: Stop working properly, within two months. The mic never worked with > windows 7 to begin with, and then one day the left side of the headset > stopped working. You do realize that these are simple old analog headphones? There's no driver to install.
  • Pros: n/a

Gary G., Newegg
10 March 2010
  • Summary: I have another headset with mic, paid a bit more and these are much better with both sound quality, mic clarity and comfort. My Skype contacts tell me I am considerably clearer. Newegg delivery can't be beat.
  • Pros: Quality from tipjacks to earcups.

Great for the price

Jonathan H., Newegg
7 March 2010
  • Summary: I wish the box came with a free meal coupon for Denny's.
  • Pros: Comfortable, and the mic quality is actually better than my $60 Platronic headset. My ears never get hot/sweat from prolonged use and the audio is very high for games like Bad Company 2.
  • Cons: I game for 2-4 hours a day and I have to remove these for a few seconds after about 30 minutes of listening then they're good to go. They don't really irritate my ears, just helps keep the blood moving. xD

5 March 2010
  • Summary: definitely worth your money.
  • Pros: -sounds great -the cord is plenty long enough for me (I like to be able to walk around my room without taking my headphones off) -it's light, but not flimsy.
  • Cons: the part of the headset that rests on the top my head is a bit uncomfortable, but I've only really used ones that have some cushioning there.
