Simply Amazing.

Jesse H., Newegg
28 June 2012
  • Summary: Sennheiser is by far the best audio brand that I know of.
  • Pros: I absolutely loved them. The sound quality was incredibly and the bass was amazing. Putting on a Sixx AM album sounded the best, for some reason. For me, the price was $35 which was worth every cent (I'd pay $100 for a pair of these if I heard them elsewhere).
  • Cons: MSRP is $200 They can hurt your ears after a few hours.

Best Earbuds Bought Yet!

Art S., Newegg
16 May 2012
  • Summary: While there are most certainly better headphones and earbuds out there, you will pay for that increase in quality! I personally do not want to spend an arm and a leg for earbuds, and when these are on sale they are a tremendous value for the money.
  • Pros: I decided to invest in these headphones while they were on sale. I have to admit they were worth every penny! I say invest, because I listen to a lot of instructional videos, audio blogs and audio books to improve my skills, so a good pair of headphones really is an investment! 1. They sound grea...
  • Cons: 2 cons, one with the volume ontroller and the other doesn't even have to do with the earbuds, but the case that came with it! It's true, the case is pretty worthless. I tried to be diligent and put them in the case each time I was done using them. The problem is that the case wasn't designed spec...

  • Cons: the only minor issue is the controller, it has some weight so it pulls the earphones down a lil.

User Review

Taylynne B., Newegg
3 April 2012
  • Summary: I read up about them on head fi before I bought them, so I knew what I was getting. Burned them in and they sounded a bit better. Not really worth the asking price of 200$, however they're great at 60 or less!
  • Pros: I found these to be very comfortable, for the most part. I have an issue with getting headphones that fit right, and do not hurt my ears/piercings. These fit rather well for me, the tips were snug and blocked out outside sounds rather well. Sound is great, imo. I'm not a serious audiophile, but I...
  • Cons: They have little diaphragm guards (common in sennheiser) that muffle the sounds a bit... But they're easily removed. If you're having problems, or the sound is a bit off, try removing them.

Great purchase

Ben C., Newegg
23 March 2012
  • Pros: These in-monitors have really impressed me. The sound is very robust across all frequencies and doesn't overpower on either end. The bass is tight, accurate, and extends super low. The highs are bright without being overwhelming. These monitors are opening up as I burn them in a little bit and th...

Very Impressed

Cody B., Newegg
1 March 2012
  • Summary: I got these on special here on newegg and thought to myself "A $200 pair of headphones for $50? What could be wrong with them?" After reading reviews both on and off this site and then seeing their fit and finish as well as the quality of the case and accessories i am now convinced that they are def...
  • Pros: Very comfortable, great volume adjustment (hard to accidentally bump the volume up or down), great accessories very crisp and clear sound.

Great set of earphones!

Ken J., Newegg
29 February 2012
  • Pros: Compact design, flexible for any situation, great sound, variable size ear plugs to make sure to make these to be fully noise cancelling... volume control on the wire is a little odd... but it works great.
  • Cons: I'll be darned, but every time I try to fit it into that case... I have to wrap them all up, and then once I pull them out, they are in a giant knot.
