Good not great

Adam L., Newegg

  • Summary: Please make a version of the PMX685i for Android.
  • Pros: Good sound, supposedly water resistant.
  • Cons: These hurt my ears after wearing them for more than 20-30 minutes. I have owned other Sennheiser and Adidas/Sennheiser earbuds, behind-the-head earphones, and studio style cans. These are good, but the least comfortable I have worn.

  • Summary: I used to have Bose mie2 which went through the Kirby vacuum cleaner. They worked after but the wiring was stripped. Decided to buy new headphones with similar ear attachment. Found these. I purchased Sennheiser before and really expected good quality. Nope. Disappointed.
  • Pros: it works Looks cool
  • Cons: Sound quality pretty lame Different types of earpieces are useless, some ripped first week, others come off while taking off or putting headphones on. Ended up using the original blue ones.

Gym headphones

Anonymous, Newegg
14 January 2014
  • Pros: Sound quality is about what I expected from the price range. Low end needs a bit of a boost from the source side, but that may be due to me having trouble getting them to fit properly. Adjustable size Still working, even after almost a year of gym abuse, which is about 6 months longer than my pre...
  • Cons: Like I said, I have a bit of trouble getting them to fit. They aren't too loose, but I'd like a slightly snugger seal. I have to be conscious of the adjustable tabs, they're like little fish hooks that like to get snagged on everything.

Not only that if you want good sound quality you will need to keep your fingers ...

  • Summary: Stay in ear? Certainly doesn't happen with me, every 100m I have to push them back in. Not only that if you want good sound quality you will need to keep your fingers pushing the buds into your ears.

Good but not for the RRP

  • Summary: If I paid the full asking price for this I'd have been very disappointed. Pros: -Doesn't fall out when running -Unlike in-ear ones, these don't carry every single shock and vibration into your ear (i.e. your footsteps).

Great sound, incredible fit.

  • Summary: Once you get the trick to 'installing' these to your ears, they are the best you'll own in earbud headphones. No background leakage, and seriously deep bass, crisp highs, and smooth midrange.

Disappointing - broke after 9 months

cinematic, Amazon

  • Summary: These headphones broke after 9 months of normal use during running etc. One earphone stopped working, with no apparent damage to the exterior. Disappointed and will go elsewhere for sports headphones.

Spot on.

  • Summary: Really pleased with these. Good sound quality. Fit securely into my ears and don't work loose whilst running, so once they're in right, no need to touch them until my run is over. Also, a big plus for me is the fact that the cables to each ear piece are the same length (symmetrical).
