  • Summary: You get more then what you pay for here. :)
  • Pros: Great sound. Lightweight. Price.
  • Cons: Fall out of my ears rather easily. Personally I hate 90° 3.5 jacks.

User Review

Stefan H., Newegg
17 April 2011
  • Summary: Don't listen to people saying that Skullcandy headphones are better than these. They may have equal or better quality, but they will last at least half as long as these do. I've owned all variant types of Skullcandy headphones, but none have lasted as long as these have, all with the same amount of...
  • Pros: These are some of the most clear earbuds I have had the satisfaction of owning. Sure, they're not made for the most audiophilic people out there, but for someone who cares about quality, these are perfect for the price. Another pro to these is, despite popular belief, the durability of these thin...
  • Cons: The only cons I can think of come from the covers for the headphones. The softer pair comes off the headphones to easily, and the others are either to misshapen, at least for my ears, or too cumbersome to keep on to deal with.

Good for Price

Theresa C., Newegg
14 April 2011
  • Summary: Its hard to find good ear bud headphones without those long foam brain suckers attached to them.
  • Pros: Sound just as good if not better then default Ipod Headphones. And they are more sturdy/harder to break then ipod headphones.
  • Cons: They aren't $1000 quality, but you didn't pay for $1000 quality.

Best light weight Headphone you can buy!

Alex L., Newegg
5 April 2011
  • Summary: Got this for when I'm working out, great sound. light and comfortable, you can't beat it for this price. I don't think you can get another one with better sound. you will have to get the bigger over the ear pro style head phone to beat the sound quality form this. love it!
  • Pros: Best price and sound "light Weight" head phone you can get. Very comfortable. Longer wire is great for working out.
  • Cons: Does not look cool at all

Fragile, but good while they last

Adam H., Newegg
31 March 2011
  • Summary: While they lasted, they offered superior sound to earbuds costing twice as much... But it quickly became clear where the cost had been cut.
  • Pros: The sound quality with these earbuds did seem significantly higher than that associated with many other brands; at the very least, they had much more low-end response than I was expecting. They also came with a little baggy in which to stash them when not being used. Not a bad detail.
  • Cons: These are the most incredibly fragile earbuds I've ever owned. I try my best to be gentle with all of my audio equipment, and even with lots of use, my past 3 pairs of earbuds have lasted at least 12 months each. This pair was done in under 3 months--the connection between the wires and the TRS c...

Second Review

Mathew R., Newegg
12 January 2011
  • Summary: I realized the last review for this product I had titled "Alright I guess" can be very confusing. I'm not sure what I was thinking when I wrote it. This is kind of an update to it. These earbuds are great if your using something like Apple's default earbuds and think there just bad.
  • Pros: Good for your average user. Much better than the default earbuds that come with an Ipod or something.
  • Cons: I purchased another set of the $20 Skullcandys I mentioned in my previous review from my local electronic's store and after comparing the two I was blown away by the difference in sound quality! When I said "My previous $20 Skullcandy's purchased from some retail store had much better lows and mu...

Alright I guess

Mathew R., Newegg
29 November 2010
  • Summary: I guess these aren't bad earphones, as they are comfortable, loud, and, well, very comfortable. As time goes on my ears are becoming more and more...Audiophileish like. I didn't full recognize this until I tried these earbuds on because of how fast I was to criticize them.
  • Pros: Good bang for your buck. Decent earbuds, decent sound quality at high and low volumes. Comfortable fit, high volumes can't be heard from more than 5 feet away.
  • Cons: I feel that the highs are tinny and the lows are virtually non-existent. By messing with an EQ for some time I managed to somewhat fix my tinny highs issue. The title of these earbuds, "w/ LiveBass" got my ears perked up as I dearly enjoy some heavy bass. Much to my disappointment the lows in the...

Best $20 you can spend...

Robert C., Newegg
18 November 2010
  • Pros: Well, I can't speak for longevity, because i just broke these out of the package, but WOW. This is the first pair of aftermarket headphones I've owned (but not the first audio system) and they blew me out of the water for only 20 bucks. The "Live Bass" system doesn't add to much bass, but makes u...

WASHING MACHINE RESISTANT - A++!

John C., Newegg
8 November 2010
  • Pros: So, within a week of ownership I ended up sending both this and my Sansa Clip into the washing machine. I can't say much for the Sansa Clip, but these headphones made it out bounty fresh, with great sound to match! As far as mid range headphones go, you can't go wrong with these, the price/qualit...
  • Cons: I cut my hand with the razor sharp plastic packaging. Rivals my CutCo cutlery, which I also sliced my finger with. I don't do so hot with the sharp edges.

Best low-price earbuds on the market

Eli M., Newegg
12 September 2010
  • Summary: For the price, I promise you you'll never get anything better.
  • Pros: Amazing sound clarity, great bass for earbuds, interchangeable earbud covers for different sized ears - so no matter who you are they have a well sized option for you in the package. Lengthy cable for easy access to any audio output port on your computer. Strong plug, seems to be very well made.
  • Cons: Only con is that the type of earbud cover that sounds the best is the cloth-type that comes with it, but these slide off rather easily and both sets of these were lost within the first few weeks. They sound perfectly fine without these however, and the rest of the coverings fit perfectly fine and...
